   Our Family really enjoyed our stay at Tower Road Motel. So peaceful & quiet. Beautiful property - the garden area is really lovely (& large). The rooms are all really clean & comfortable. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. Andy (the owner) is absolutely awesome. Really down to earth, & great to talk with. Absolutely recommend Tower Road Motel in Matamata as a place to stay.

   My friends got married at Hobbiton and this was an easy walk into the heart of Matamata to meet them for our shuttle to the event. It was so quiet and tranquil—the only noise was the occasional neigh of a neighboring horse and birdsong. My studio had everything I needed for my short stay—plates, utensils, glassware and a microwave for the snacks I picked up in the village. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable! The host, Adam, was friendly and helpful! All around a lovely stay!

   How lucky was I to find this place. Fantastic place to stay when we came to town to see the hobbiton movie set. Andy the manager/opener was awesome, such a great guy. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. If it’s available book here!

   Had the pleasure of staying here last week. From the initial phone call to book a room to leaving, the customer service was amazing. It was so nice to arrive and the heater was on in the room. Delightful shower, clean and welcoming room. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers

   Great place to stay. Clean & tidy. Only problem is there's no couch to sit & watch tv. Would have been nice to sit & relax while we were there. Good shower & comfortable bed.

   I stayed here last year in May 22 and was one of if not the most welcoming , relaxing, clean and hospitable spots to stay in, it’s become a frequent spot for all my family that have been travelling in and out if MataMata in the past 12 months. The caretakers are the loveliest people. Will be first choice of stays for me when back in the area.

   Couldn't fault the stay. The room was immaculate so clean and tidy and even felt clean. The bed was super comfortable. Tracy and Kevin were fantastic hosts highly recommend. Beautiful walk out to the Tower this morning to start the day. Not much road traffic noise either. Will definitely be booking and staying with them again!
