   Genuinely one of the best places I've stayed. The service was fantastic (even when I was getting in late at night), the amenities are great, everything is spotless and well put together!! As a single young woman, at no point did I feel unsafe or stressed out, which is saying something when you are staying in regional farmland with not many other buildings around! Would highly recommend a stay here, whether you are needing to stay near Hamilton, or just passing through as you van around NZ!

   We stayed here for 3nights - family room (2bdrms, full kitchen, lounge) had ample space. Convenient location as we had a conference at Mystery Creek convention centre. Had a group booking so 11 of us in total inc kids. Was a chilled relaxing environment. Was easy for us to book. Margaret was very helpful and lovely. She was great! Would def stay again! Thanks Margaret!

   We recently stayed at Mystery Creek Motel. It is 20 mins drive from Hamilton City Center and is situated just opp Mystery Creek Event centre. It's a very calm and cosy place, ideal for stay with family. We got the family room and it was a fantastic layout, ample space to sit, dine and cook. Margaret was extremely helpful in getting the booking for me as it was messed up by Trivago.. but she made my experience better by her promptness. We were lucky to see witness 2 beautiful white peacocks in the property in the morning in one of the days of our stay. Overall, fabulous!

   We had a lovely stay at the motel, the owners were soo kind and let us fill up water in the van even after we had checked out. The rooms (family and double) were cosy, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and free breakfast cereals. We'd definitely stay again.

   One of the cleanest motels we've stayed in, everything was spotless, & the owners were friendly & welcoming. The bed was comfy & the room was warm even though it was only 1 degree outside overnight. The communal kitchen was also spotless & well appointed, with the added bonus of a reading area with couches & shelves of books.

   Everything here is 40yrs old. Very retro. Except the price! More like a museum than motel. The internet is a Dad's joke. Remember buffering? All very quaint, 0and the hosts are nice people... but this motel is yesterday's news, and poor value for money.

   My husband and I were very thankful to the Mystery Creek Motel for fitting us into a room at short last minute notice for a much needed rest before continuing our journey. Thank you so much friendly helpful staff, loved the location being away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and omg the room wow we could've fit all our kids and grandkids in no problem thank you so much
