The people are so friendly. The room super clean and the bed very comfortable. Slept for 10 hours straight. Full kitchen if you need it.
I’m not usually fussy about accommodation, but I have to write an honest review here. We stayed three nights and unfortunately had several issues that made the stay quite uncomfortable. The biggest problem was the air quality in the rooms- there’s a really musty, moldy smell that makes the air feel stale and old. This actually gave me what felt like an allergic reaction with blocked airways and trouble sleeping, but only while in the room. As soon as I left the motel or went into any other building the symptoms completely disappeared, so it’s definitely something in the air there. The furniture really needs refreshing and looks quite dated. The beds and sheets are super basic- which you’d expect from a motel so that’s fair enough, but worth mentioning. What made things worse was having virtually no mobile reception in the rooms, and there’s no free WiFi. They only offer Zenbu which we were happy to pay for, but even after paying the connection was absolutely terrible- the weakest, most unreliable WiFi I’ve ever experienced. We couldn’t even load a webpage properly, so if you’re planning to get any work done or research anything online, it’s basically impossible. The location in Cambridge is convenient, but between the air quality issues and the connectivity problems, we definitely won’t be coming back.
This place is pretty much bang on perfect. Friendly service from the team, very comfy rooms and massive as swimming pool. My only gripe, is that wifi reception in the room is patchy. Did quite often drop out.
Was a bit on the dirty side. There was thick mould around the rubber seal in the fridge which I cleaned. Unit could do with a refresh and good clean. Bed was pretty comfortable though.
Great location in Cambridge, fairly close to town cafes and veledrome.could use some more plugs for heaters in the winter
Good place, clean comfy bed. Handy for visiting Hamilton Gardens. Very nice area.
Our stay here was very refreshing and everything we needed. Manager was very helpful and kind. Room was tidy, shower was great, and wifi was fine. The pool area is fabulous. Was also very nice to be able to do laundry!
