Stayed recently and cannot fault the clean, modern rooms. Great location to the CBD and university. Great service to match. Would definately stay here again
Wonderful staff, very warm, friendly vibe. Room 10/10 clean and comfy. Easy to find, parking on site and great location, the Thai restaurant is a 10 as well (get the Lemongrass Chicken dish)
Great hosts, friendly, diligent. Clean warm beautiful rooms. Great facilities. Close to my destination in Dunedin, the Dunedin Hospital. I stayed twice in 2 weeks I enjoyed my stay & will stay again in the future. I have already been recommending this lovely establishment to all my friends.
Down for The Dunedin Study age 52yr. Fantastic place to stay. Really niice super nice comfortable, private and quiet rooms. Rooms looks out on to a beautiful garden. Thai restaurant out front to this place is JUST DEVINE FOOD
We had a great stay at Aurora, a very clean and comfortable motel close to the centre of Dunedin. Super friendly and helpful staff, lots of little amenities to make your stay comfortable. We never had any issues with parking and always found a spot. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was really nice compared to a standard studio, great having some extra space.
Visited some friends that were staying and was absolutely amazed with the beautiful courtyard/garden I was able to enjoy while catching up with friends. I was made a lovely coffee in their room which was nicely presented and very clean looking. I was surprised with how modern the room and facilities were. Friends said staff were friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to make my friends stay more comforting! I'm a local but if for some reason I needed a room in town I would like to book here for sure!
Clean rooms nice garden setting. Managers friendly but not a place to go to by car. They don't have enough parks and don't tell you this when giving you a permit. Returning at night and having to go around increasing numbers of blocks looking for a space a distance away takes the gloss off a great stay. The response the next day that suggested we somehow should have done more, when all the members of our group staying there were also left hunting for parks on the road, was disappointing in the context if an otherwise good stay.
Really lovely hotel, the staff were very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean, well equipped, and with very nice lighting from the windows. We have been traveling up and down South Island and we agree the Aurora was far and above our favorite stay and would recommend it to anyone staying in Dunedin.
A wonderful 2 bedroom apartment where bedding configuration suited our needs. Wonderfully located within walking distance of many facilities and sights. Thank you to Helen and Chris who helped us in our time of need. Your customer service and empathy was outstanding. Highly recommend your hotel.
