“Vegetarian options! Had a delicious lunch here. Two of us ordered Jasmine Tea, Twice Cooked Tofu, Stir Fried Potato & Capsicum, and a medium bowl of rice. We finished everything and felt good full, not too full. Their tofu is locally sourced! It was fried, puffy, soft, and soaked up sauce excellently. They have soy sauce, white pepper, and chilli oil available, too. The large menu offers Cambodian,Thai, Chinese, and some other cuisines. Lots of dishes non-Chinese people will know, and some you won’t! We ordered dishes from the Chinese menu and I’d recommend both. A Note on Meat — if you’re vegetarian or vegan make sure to ask for no meat, egg, and/or dairy. Not all dish names mention meat but lots of Chinese dishes often include meat even tofu dishes. The restaurant’s interior is the Shabby Chic I adore of Chinese Restaurants in New Zealand — lanterns, large tables with lazy susan’s, photos of menu items on the wall etc. Perfect!”

Definitely the kind of pizza I would take home at the end of the night. Food perfect as always, very tasty, good toppings, lovely bases.”

“This is by far the best KFC around Christchurch. They absolutely pump out orders the drive thru can be full spilling out onto the street and it still moves fast. I don't think I've ever had an issue in the year I've been coming here.”

“Thank you so much to the kind Indian gentleman who was working solo today at 2pm when I popped in to collect my daughter's online order. My car keys and alarm holder had fallen apart and he "creatively" helped me fix it back by using some price tags to temporarily hold it in place. Then I realised I had missed inserting the battery back and found it in my car, he again helped me with it plus pushing my car back into place (as I had partially reversed it before it died). All in all, it was a busy and hot day but he made it so much easier. Much appreciated that he was calm, polite and smiling all the time.”

“Needed a couple of random little plumbing bits for work, knew this place would have everything we needed and after a bit of rummaging managed to find exactly what we needed. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. Love this place, will be back :)”

As it was an urgent medical package, and as it was a Friday, she took the time to call my provided phone number and check I'd be home so she didn't miss me (which would mean I'd have to wait until Monday to get my package). Super impressed with this level of customer service and has probably convinced me to use you guys over other couriers for business needs in the future. “I had never heard of PBT Couriers before, that is, until the firm I ordered some fragile goods from used them. Pickup in Taupo was swift with arrival in Christchurch the next night. Real easy to track and the goods arrived in perfect condition. I picked up from the Christchurch depot as I only have a PO Box and not a residential address. Very friendly service on pickup. A totally transparent and seamless experience. IMO just as good, if not better than NZ Post Couriers.”
