   The service here is very good and fast. Everything is cooked to order and beautifuly presented . We enjoyed each dish very much! A great place to order different dishes to share. I thought the portions were generous as well. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. There aren't many tables, so I recommend booking in advance

   We ordered the beef tataki, prawn and vege tempura and chan chan yaki. The beef tataki was well seasoned and had a good portion size. The tempura and chan chan yaki were too oily. We left feeling slightly sick because of the richness of the oil. Other menu items might be better. Nice views of Stonefields out back. At just over $40pp a bit pricey for what it is.

   First time with the family, introducing Hokkaido to them as we had just climbed Mt Wellington. We were very impressed with the speed and quality of the food. Tried a wide range of food from beef tataki, beef tongue, soft-shelled crab, to the 12 piece sushi and grilled squid. We will be back.

   I've visited this restaurant a couple of times and always meant to write a review but their delicious food just slipped my mind. I had the pleasure of dining there again tonight with my wife and I must say the place consistently meets high standards. The service was excellent and the seating was both nice and comfortable. My children absolutely love the sushi too. Plus, the prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is wonderfully clean. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.

   We frequent this place few years back and visited again last weekend after a long while. The servings seem to have reduced big time. We ordered more than our usual as we have missed this place but surprisingly wasnt feeling satisfied (portion wise). The taste is consistently good, however, not good enough for the price you are paying. I love their Beef Tataki. The rice seem to be sitting in an oven for a while as the top part is hard! The pork katsu is dry, thin and over cooked. We left a little bit disappointed.

   Not really authentic and the food is very average. Our Katsu curry was a little overpowered by curry powder. The tempura batter doesn't look out taste like Japanese tempura batter.

   Portions were small, food lacked any flavour you would expect from Japanese food. Very disappointed especially given how pricey it was. Would not recommend nor be returning.

   Consistently small portions. Image in menu showed 8 pieces of tataki and my order arrived with only 6. Fish on top of sushi is very thinly cut. The salmon roll is mostly rice and avocado. The rice on the sushi isn’t even sushi rice. But the prices are premium prices. I will avoid this place in the future.

   One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Auckland. Reasonable price and tasty food. While most of the dishes are very delicious, I wouldn’t recommend their karaage fried chicken. It was just not Japanese style at all.
