   Good little shop, butter chicken is literally syrupy sweet, but the Rogan Josh and papadums were amazing. Doors are broken with a small sign to push and the place looks run down from the front. Inside it’s actually pretty nice and the music is a good volume. Definitely worth a try if you don’t want to go to manly or red beach for good curry.

   I am only marking 'atmosphere' down because our table of 4 was the only one occupied. We had 4 different meals and all were delicious. This restaurant deserves to be better supported. The decor has recently been revamped and is really nice. The menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced. There is also a BYO option for the budget conscious. I had the Chicken Rogan Josh... superb!

   I had a medium butter chicken takeaway. It was far too sweet. Completely ruined by the added sugar or whatever made it so sweet. The Naan wasn't soft and puffy it was flat and tough to tear. Wouldn't buy from here again

   Great food at value pricing for the locals. I had the $9.99 lunch special, as of writing. Tasty and still a lot of food. There is also the $14.50 All Mains Special which would be good come the evening.

   You know when you have a lazy day at home, and you just want to get some nice butter chicken to fill that craving? We had one of those days so we decided to give Spice & Soda a shot. When we got there at 11:30AM the store was closed, lights off and tables were still stacked inside. This was quite confusing as even the hours listed in front of the door states that they should be open. We decided to hang around a bit and about 15 minutes later, someone eventually said that they will be open in about 10 minutes. Finally, we sat inside and we were ready to get started. Interior: The decor is a bit old in appearance and run down. The space is also a little bit tight but you can still move around without having to squeeze through other tables. The service: We did not really see much staff, there was only one waiter who was running the front, taking orders and then going to the kitchen to help prepare the food. The staff member who served us was nice. The food: We both ordered the Murgh Makani $9.99 lunch special, which is basically your butter chicken. The special comes with rice, naan bread and the curry itself which is a pretty good deal. All combinations were cooked well and tasted great. Overall, our experience at spice and soda was above average. If you are in the local area then I would highly suggest checking this place out.

   Very unique interior design made of coir ropes. Loved the mango lassi and vegetable pakoda. Moghal Murgh was okay and Fish curry was too sweet. The aloo roti and paneer roti were good. The itemized bill wasn't given - not sure why. The service was good.
