   Big portion with lots of banchan. However the fish roes in cold noodle have pretty unusual lingament crunch, unlike what I thought fish roes texture would be in sushi. Maybe that dish is not for me. Apart from this the price is reasonable and everything is good. Will come back to try other dishes

   Father Son bonding walk at Takapuna Beach, and had late lunch at Myung Dong after just passing by during previous visits to Takapuna. Ordered beef and veggies, and spicy squid rings, both on hot plates, and pork and veggies steamed dumplings. Came with 4 sides. Nice experience. Good food.

   One of the best restaurants in Takapuna area. Main dish served with rice. Korean BBQ pork and beaf are worth trying. Weekends are usually crowded. Street parking can be found nearby. BBQ squid was not great. Fried dumplings are tasty. Lot of authentic Korean dishes available.

   We had dumpling with noodles. The food was fine however, both the kitchen and front was understaffed. The noodle was served without dumplings with promise that the dumpling will follow soon. It arrived about 30 or so minutes later (30 minutes after the noodle was served). It was 3 dumplings so the wait was ridiculous. Both people leaving, waiting for table and waiting for their food was backlogged.

   Saddest beef bibimbap.. with what seems like a teaspoon of ground beef for more than 20 dollars. Side dishes were skimpy for three people, and arrived after the mains. We had to ask the lady for water twice as well as scissors for the cold noodles. Cold noodles and stir fried squid tasted great, but it was not worth the price we paid for.
