   Seven of our family visited Halon Vietnamese and we were all really impressed. The service had a fast-food style efficiency friendly, quick, and no fuss which made the whole meal easy and enjoyable. The food came out fast and was full of flavour. We highly recommend the crispy pork with anything every dish that included it was absolutely delicious! Portions were generous, and everything was reasonably priced, especially for the quality. A great spot for a casual, tasty family meal. We’ll definitely be back

   I recommend the pork spare ribs and mango smoothie. The food is good and there’s parking outside the restaurant. However, the customer service is not very welcoming, and the takeaway experience isn’t worth the money soup isn’t included unless you pay extra.

   This Vietnamese restaurant comes highly recommended, if you want a quick delicious Vietnamese meal. The food quality is great, portions are generous, and the service is both efficient and quiet, and very quick! The restaurant is spacious, offering plenty of indoor seating. I visited with my brother for dinner, and we both ordered the Lemongrass Chicken with rice. The chicken was tender, and the portion of rice was perfect to leave us feeling satisfied. This place never disappoints!

   Great place to get a decent meal at a reasonable price. Lemongrass chicken on rice, beef pho, crispy pork on rice all around 21 dollars. Drinks are good too - I had coconut nectar which is not too sweet. I liked it.

   What we ordered: Lemongrass chicken on rice and Egg noodle soup with lemongrass chicken. They serve quite fast. The portions are big and the prices was good. They’ve had the same menu now for many years and a lot of people still come here for dinner/lunch. Its nice you get soup on the side with rice. And bean sprouts for your soup. There are also condiments on the side. I love adding chilly on my soup. Gives it a kick.

   Simple set up but the food was fantastic. The beef soup had generous chunks of beef and the noodle salad was delicious. Serving sizes were more than adequate.

   Hubby and I had a grilled chicken vermicelli (bun cha), a pho and some summer rolls. And all three came with round rice noodles, which was not the way they should be. Bun cha didn't even come with enough sauce and I had to ask for more. Nothing authentic about this restaurant. It's not bad... but not good either... Portion was decent, so yeah why not if you're just looking to fill yourself up. Edit: I looked at the photos of the others and it seems like people were getting the right type of pho... really odd that leaves me even more unhappy with the food we got... (still wrong vermicelli it seems...)

   We were a party of 6 and tried 5 different dishes with fried spring rolls and wontons for entrees. I thought the fried spring rolls were a 5/5. I had better wontons before. The beef stir fried rice scored a 5/5. The pork on vermicelli was a 4/5. The lemon grass chicken turned out to be the favourite with 2 people ordering it and both giving it a 5/5. The pork on rice was a 3/5. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. They did get one order wrong though. Portions were fair.
