   Loki absolutely adores going to Kumeu Kennels- he takes awhile to trust and accept new people in his circle, the professionalism and knowledge Beverly has- have helped us to work with Loki and his anxiety’s/quirks- we are so grateful we found this place and the support our boy has been shown! He attends every week for daycare and overnight stays when we are out of town and we have complete faith he is being well cared for and getting his fair share of belly rubs!

   Harry my JRT has being going to Kumeu Kennels since he was 4 months old. He gets very excited on doggy daycare days and absolutely loves going. He stays overnight when we go away and they take exceptionally good care of him, matching him well with other like minded dogs. I know he will always be safe with Bev and her team. I love the Instagram updates, the highlight of my day when I see him featured.

   We have been so impressed with Kumeu Kennels. Even though Kumeu Kennels is a bit far from us, it is absolutely worth the distance. The regular photo updates on Instagram really show how much the staff care for all the dogs and its so reassuring to see Zippy looking happy and relaxed interacting with everyone.    Kumeu Kennels are amazing and we love sending our dog Jonty there! They have big open grassed space for him to run around in and he always seems to team up with a mate. The staff are fantastic and looking at their regular updates of the pooches on Instagram you can see they clearly enjoy doing what they do. This makes it so nice to know when you're away and it's great too when Jonty comes home with a big smile on his face! :)

   We brought our 14 year old Hati to Kumeu Boarding Kennels for the first time a week ago and picked her up today (our old kennel shut down over the pandemic). They took fantastic care of her. Hati looked very happy, relaxed and was smiling the whole way home. I really liked that Beverly asked a lot of cautious questions before accepting Hati and that she explained why she was asking them. It looks like this kennel has exactly the right mix of activities and relaxation for young dogs but also for somewhat elderly dogs like ours, and they are careful about the mix of dogs they accept. Strong recommendation, we will bring Hati back.

   Okay, our Lil girl Soul was a resident of KBK under the care of Bev and her team (Jack especially) for approximately 4-5 months due our housing crisis resulting in pets not being allowed on site. And due to our situation and Soul needing a place to house her Beverly was there to support us and Soul thru our trying time - Bev without your love, support, guidance and care, the stress surrounding our Lil girl and her needs was quite unfathomable however, you put all of our stresses at ease. Visiting Soul and seeing her flourishing, happy, fit and healthy was something a family so needed to see thus our smiles were very wide and joyful. Your team were very aware of her quirks and needs and when we took her out or for the weekend she was well aware of where she was going to and she knew the procedures required of her on our return. We are doing better and Soul is thriving. Apologies for this reviews lateness albeit we as a family including Soul wish to wholeheartedly Thank you personally for all that you did for us especially the speed in which you took Soul on - Soul says woof woof too. All the best to you, your team and the future.
