   Grainne and Kevin at Connemara Country Lodge are made for this, they are lovely and welcoming, their property stunning and well maintained. I instantly felt welcome, surrounded by peace and serenity, and could feel myself unwinding and relaxing. Dinner was amazing, breakfast delicious, the rooms comfortable with all amenities we need, and the chats with Grainne and Kevin were memborable, interesting and funny. Definitely will book in again for a treat of a night away, or longer... :)

   Connemara Country Lodge is beyond a doubt the most stunning venue in the Awhitu region I have ever been to! not only are the ground well maintained by Kevin and Grainne but they are by far the most personable people I have ever met, very relaxed and supportive, having done over 90 weddings they excel in fantastic communcation and problem solving to make sure everything goes perfect for your big day. As a groomsman helping out decorating or fixing last minute issues Kevin was a gentleman offering advice, help and a positive attitude the whole time.While Grainne was the most gracious host floating around helping problem solve and even providing me with a bag of their delcious heirloom tomatos to take home back to wellington with me. 10/10 wedding all thanks to a wonderful pair, highly recommend this place for Kevin and Grainne alone!

   Had the very real pleasure of attending our daughter's wedding at the Connemara Country Lodge in February 2023 and what a treat it was...thanks in no small part to the venue itself...and its brilliant warm and accommodating hosts...and Max the friendly laid back border collie! The facilities setting and views, the lodges comfortable farmhouse charm and the variety of facilities present all add up to something a bit special. Anyone who enjoys a stay or an event at this homely venue will carry great memories of the place with them for a long, long time.

   Top BnB. Greeted by wonderful hosts Kevin & Grainne. Outstanding service and very accommodating to ensure a great stay is to be had. Alot of effort was put in to looking after my partner & I. We could not thank you enough for the great time that was spent on your well cared for property.    We recently had our wedding at Connemara and it couldn't have been more perfect! Kevin and Grainne were the most amazing hosts, from start to finish they were determined to make our day everything we ever imagined and they certainly did this! The day before they had everything out that we needed and ready to go to start set up, the vendors had been called to ensure they knew where they were going even Max's outfit was chosen. They didn't stop the entire day, my only regret is I didn't get to sit down and have a drink with them! Thank you so much for making our dream come true, I will be recommending your venue to anyone who is looking to get married or even just have a wee get away in the future! Absolutely beautiful venue with spectacular views. 1000% recommended to those wanting a relaxed yet fun and easy set up event!
