An oasis for cats. My cat loved it here and was calm and happy overtime i picked him up. Jan goes above and beyond to ensure the cats are nurtured and happy during their stay. My boy has stayed several times in the last year and he doesn't stress about going in the carrier or car, I think because he enjoys going!
This cat resort is the best! Beautiful surroundings and the best care I've ever seen. Our cat is a bit skittish but she always comes back so calm and happy. Jan really cares about her guests and it shows. 10 out of 5 stars.
Keepin Katz is an amazing cattery, just got back from a 3 week trip and both cats are happy and relaxed. Didn't worry at all while I was away, was kept updated with photos and Jan and the team took great care of them. Thanks again!
Absolutely amazing experience at Keepin Katz! I recently left my cat Lyla here for a week and it was her first time ever at a cattery. I can confidently say this is the only place I’ll trust with her in the future. Jan is not only warm and welcoming, but also funny ;) and clearly passionate about caring for cats. I was a bit nervous since Lyla had never been in a cattery before, and I expected her to be shy and possibly not eat much. To my surprise, she settled in very quickly and seemed totally at ease when I picked her up and looked happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Jan even had Lyla’s special dental food on hand, which I hadn’t expected at all. The extra attention to detail and care really made all the difference. Can’t recommend Keepin Katz highly enough. Thank you for taking such great care of Lyla :)
Jan and her family are amazing. Not only do they give the most amazing accomodation and care for your four-legged babies but they really take pride in the service they offer. We were lucky enough to be able to foster and adopt a stray cat that was being cared for by Keepin Katz. He wasn’t claimed by his original owners so he’s saying and he’s certainly claimed our hearts. Thank you Keepin Katz for your wonderful service to the community and beyond.
My cat stayed with Keepin Katz for the first time this past month - Jan was absolutely amazing, very reassuring of a nervous cat-mum and took great care to make sure my cat's needs were met. Jan is very attuned to cat behaviour - we'll definitely be using her services again!
After having recently adopted our wee Mickey and only having her with us for a month before being affected by the January floods we were nervous about leaving her in a Cattery for an extended period.. Jan and the team took amazing care of our wee girl for 4 months and provided regular photo updates on facebook, Jan was so accommodating and reassuring at such short notice and we knew after our initial phone call this was the place we were going to leave Mickey. It was such a relief knowing that Mickey was happy and so well looked after. We cannot recommend Keepin Katz highly enough, they were absolutely amazing.
Absolutely wonderful cattery! We were very nervous to leave our boy for the first time, but he was very well looked after and came home a very happy kitten. Jan & her team put our minds at ease with their understanding and willingness to respond to a cat's needs, and talked us through their routine so we knew what to expect. Highly recommend for any cat, but particularly if you have a ragdoll and are looking for a cattery that has experience with them. Also recommend the taxi service - this was a life saver to make sure we didn't feel rushed heading away and have a stressed out kitten. 10/10, we are happy knowing that we can give our boy a holiday he will enjoy and know he's well looked after, so he will be back for sure!
It was the first time leaving our Cat Stevie in a cattery so was feeling nervous about leaving him. However, Jan put our minds at ease. She is quick to respond to any queries and seemed to take time to understand Stevie and his personality. Was worth the drive from central Auckland knowing our fur baby was in good hands.
