They have a good service, very easy shopping with the staff and clearly marked aisles. They have kind chatty staff and the staff can easily help you find what you’re looking for. They never run out of stock, so if what you’re looking for isn’t there, ask staff to get it. New World is definitely one of the greatest shopping markets in NZ.”

Our 3 year old had an accident at Bunnings Petone on the weekend and the staff were so incredible - knew the process,everyone helped accordingly and followed up with a phone call later that day and a gift sent via post. “As weird as it might seem to review a supermarket, a visit to this NW won't disappoint. I often use their catering service which has an excellent options and size of platters. Myself & other coworkers buy lunch from here with a wide selection from Wishbone & other suppliers to include sushi & salads, prepackaged hot meals etc. This small NW packs a punch as it has all the usual supermarket supplies including bakery, butchery & fresh fruit & veg plus wines & beer. Do you need flowers & a cake... yes, they do that too.”

“I had to make a sudden trip to Wellington on Friday morning, so I was looking for accommodation late Thursday night. I called the hotel on Johnston Street, and a gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful, he arranged for an early check-in at 8 AM on Friday. Everything was well organised, the room was very clean, and I felt extremely comfortable during my stay. I was also able to work from the apartment without any issues. Please pass on my sincere thanks to the gentleman at the reception (the one with curly hair) for his assistance, as well as to the Indian lady who helped with my checkout and kindly kept my bag safe until I left in the evening.”
