   At around 8:30 pm on 5th of December, my pregnant wife and I were preparing to check out with more than 20 items in our basket. I noticed that one checkout lane was open and there were no customers, so I asked a female staff member nearby whether the checkout was open. Her exact words were: “Yes, only if you really need to. I’m the only one here now and I have other things to do.” I have been shopping at Khandallah New World for eight years, and in fact, in the past twenty-five years I have never encountered a checkout staff member telling a customer that they would prefer not to serve them. I believe New World should review its service standards.

   I shopped at NWK in July and rested in my car after that as I was ill. They fined me for parking in the parking lot for a little bit longer than they would have liked. Clearly a well organised and empty car park is far more important than customer retention. There are lots of other supermarkets. I will spare them the inconvenience of having a loyal and returning customer, and never shop there again.

   Rub shoulders with Wellington"s nouveau riche, as some look down their noses at denim and tattoos while buying the same toilet paper as you. There's a sense of community here, even if you feel it as you're outside looking in.

   I cannot speak highly enough of this local supermarket! Despite being smaller in size, it offers everything that we need, and more. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and we feel like part of the community every time we visit. Their selection is outstanding for a small store, and we never have trouble finding what we need. The store is immaculate and very well organised, which makes for a stress-free shopping experience. It's a true gem to have a supermarket of this quality in our village, and we feel lucky to have it. Highly recommended!

   Incredibly wasteful - this store is still individually plastic wrapping its bakery items. I can’t shop here while they have such a wasteful attitude to creating plastic rubbish.

   Smaller version of New World supermarket but it has most of the daily groceries and items you need. I love the fresh produce and fruits, although it is not as complete as the big New World supermarkets. They also have fish, halal chicken, meat, halal sausages from Pam’s, and seafood. Big bulk of halal beef and lambs are also available. Bread in many varieties, cheese, eggs and dairy are also available. It has many baked goods as well. Rows of frozen and ready-to-eat Food are also available. Chips and munchies are available, even cards and magazine as well as flowers. So pretty much compact yet complete. Parking spaces are available and there are spots for disabled as well. The store is disability friendly too. Staff are friendly and handy. They sometimes have quizzes with gifts and hampers, so you can check it out. Always happy to go back here
