    The Porirua branch go above and beyond to support and look after their customers. We communicated with Neil, Garry and Vic individually and each listened to our requirements, and responded appropriately. All three of them are genuine, very knowledgeable and dedicated to their job and customers. They go above and beyond and it is worth travelling to the Porirua branch. Along with the above, the courier personnel were excellent. There was a black mark on the new bed and the Central City movers, cleaned it up and they did a great job, which we are grateful for.

    We had an amazing experience at Harvey Norman Porirua recently. The sales assistant was engaging, informative, and honest. So if you ever need your tech questions answered (we had questions about dryers and TVs) ask for Zach! He was exceptional!!!

    I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a faulty product and the handling of my refund request. I purchased a pair of Sennheiser Sport earbuds from your Porirua store. Shortly after purchase, one of the earbuds stopped working. I promptly visited the store, and after inspection, your technician confirmed that the product was indeed faulty. At that time, I informed the technician that I did not wish to receive a replacement of the same model and instead wanted to use the value towards another product. The technician advised me that I would need to wait for approximately two weeks for further processing. After waiting for the stated period, I received a call from the store informing me that only a replacement of the same product was available and that a refund or exchange for another product could not be provided. I find this outcome disappointing, as the product was confirmed to be defective, and I believe I am entitled to a refund or exchange, which requires that goods be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose

    Good morning. On my recent visit to Harvey Norman Porirua, I was having problems with my cell phone which I had purchased 12 months previously from them. A young man from the sales department in the cellphone area approached me. He thought he saw the problem but seeked more help, taking me to the Help desk in the store, where 2 assistants discussed my phone. They attempted to repair it on the spot. This didn't work and 2 options were presented to me. The solution was found but would take a few hours and there was a cost envolved. A replacement phone was offer to me. A few hours later I returned and to pick up my phone, where salesman then advised of a deal Harvey Norman had at this time. 'To change phone provider and get a gift voucher, this would cover the cost of my repair.' What a truly amazing young man, he was kind and respective and so abliging, old fashion service. Well done. He was one of three young men who helped me. They went above and beyond to provide the very best service. They presented themselves being smartly dressed and smiling willing to help. This service was professional, while friendly, they knew their product and if not went out of their way to get help. I am retired and appreciated the care and respect these gentlemen showed to me. A gold star from me thank you

    The Porirua store has almost every thing you need to furnish your home. A huge range of quality products at competitive prices on display in spacious showrooms under one roof. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also have an extensive range of electronics, computers and accessories and photo printing facilities. Highly recommend a visit to this store.

    Staff in the living room furniture area are very rude and unprofessional. Dealt with Indian guy Harry and it was one of the most disappointing experience. He shown attitude and argued unnecessarily. I don’t think he has customer service background or he don’t even understand what Is customer service. I think Harvey Norman should hire people with better customer service background or provide training to staff and teach them to respect their customer.
