   I visited Noel Leeming Lower Hutt while on a camping trip, looking for a portable power station with 240V outputs — a fairly common item now. When I asked a staff member for this, I was told that nothing like that exists and that I must be referring to a small portable battery for charging a phone. After clarifying and showing him a photo of the exact product listed on Noel Leeming’s own website, the response shifted. I was then told they didn’t have it in store and would need to order it in. That in itself is fine. Being confidently told the product didn’t exist in the first place is not. To add to the frustration, I walked three minutes down the road to JB Hi-Fi and purchased the exact same item immediately. I don’t expect staff to know every product, but I do expect them to listen and check rather than dismiss a customer. A quick search would have avoided a poor experience and a lost sale

   Recently purchased LG qned80 tv from store. I didn’t expect people yell at just following there instructions. Yesterday been front of house there to pick dilevery. But reception advised me to go back to storage to pick delivery. Advised me se will call them that I was coming to pick it. I been back to storage where Nz post people delivering goods. I been to storage and simple advised I came to pick my order. The lady was certainly angry and start yelling at me asking questions why are you here and who told you to come inside. I was shocked as she is rude and directing me to go outside. I simply say sorry, feeling frustrated why I buy from this store. And over this she told me she can't give me order as she is receiving different delivery. Advised me you have to wait and go inside. After waiting some other guy come and give the order- atleast he is nice and not rude like the other lady. If you go to storage to pick delivery please don't go inside, no matter no one is outside to help you.

   We went to buy a microwave from noel lemming being customers of noel lemming but the lady staff who was assisting us on Saturday midday at the lower hutt branch no customer service etiquettes at all instead of recommending another product told us I am not going to drive to another store to get you the product. She could have been more polite and recommended another product or could have suggested us go to another noel lemming store if you need a microwave. Sorry noel lemming lower hutt but with staff like this it loss of business for your store as we ended up at Harvey Norman who made us feel so comfortable and recommended us a great product.hope the owner of the store makes staff feel It is a place to work as looks like no staff were interested to help Out so we walked out.we were also Looking @ a new television but felt the staff did not care.

   Had the weirdest experience, went in to buy a screen protector for my phone (a quick and easy job). Was asked 3 times if I wanted to pay an extra $10 for them to apply it, after saying no and being asked over again I gave in because it was embarrassing not being listened to. They also couldn't supply me with a gst receipt because my email address messed up their system and they couldn't process the transaction. I was asked to change my email address then and there on the spot, which I couldn't do because they were applying the screen protector to my phone (which wasn't something I wanted in the first place, so thats hilarious) and also I don't have another email address. I only had 5 minutes and this turned into me causing them a problem, so I asked for a refund in cash and but they couldn't because it was my fault their till was locked.
