This place has heaps of free parking while I grabbed some groceries, I ordered angry chicken from the neighboring takeaway for the first time and it was so delicious.
Nice tidy good layout, I usually shop at Auckland city woolies quay street(home) and this Petone one in Wellington has a very similar layout clean and tidy. The older white ladies are always the friendliest here everytime I go to pickup my shopping always greeted by a nice older cheerful caucasian lady who enjoy their jobs and have great customer service skills! :)
Spacious & clean Woolworths store with wide aisles & open areas. Plenty of good quality, fresh produce & a bakery. Staff member at self checkout was not too helpful when I needed assistance. Other than that, it's not a bad shopping experience
Very large chilled wine selection and large walk-in beer fridge. Good layout overall.
My Husband actually went into this Supermarket and I was outside in car in disabled park as I am disabled a car drove into the park next to us and one person got out of the car and nothing was wrong with them I was in the Park next to the door's and the car beside us parked in the disabled park next to us one woman got out and had a smoke nothing wrong with her the person who went inside nothing wrong with him either they looked at me daring me to say something but I think this Supermarket should have security outside checking on who is parking in these disabled parks.
My go to shop here for kids lunches and nappies . Usually have good deals than Pak n Save so i grab what i can before i finish off at Pak n Save .
Rating based entirely on bike parking: This Countdown has five βlollipopβ style bike racks (can fit up to ten bikes). This style is good for securing your bike to. Thereβs a generous amount of space around the racks, which is good for larger (cargo) bikes. The racks are right next to the front entrance, which is convenient, and good for security. Only downside is that they kind of look like trolley bays, so sometimes people put shopping trolleys into them. More signage could help with this.
