Any problems get sorted out asap and they try their hardest to ensure we have a good time. Amazing barstaff and their cocktails are divine, always a pleasure coming here after work and on the days I have off. Bouncers are absolute sweethearts, definitely one of my favorite places to vibe”

“Amazing place, I visited here after last being a regular two years ago. And blown away by the fact that most of the prices are the same. I can still get an absolutely packed roast pork sandwich for only $6 the same price I paid two years ago. And it was just as good if not better than I remember. “Columbus Coffee Petone was our sneaky Sunday Brunch Date location this weekend. As always, the service and meals were impeccable. The smiles & banter of the staff are so welcoming, and we really enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food. Today we sampled the eggs benny with mushrooms and the big breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection (soft n runny for him, and a bit firmer for myself). The #pinkyslice is sooo moreish, it hit the sweet spot too. Thanks team for being such awesome people and providing wonderful meal options.”

“This place has been around for years use to walk past in my teens and use to order takeaways in my younger adult days. Now in my 40s we visited from Christchurch recently and stopped in for dinner, and owner was there and greeted us (swear she hasn’t aged). Food was delicious and plentiful we couldn’t eat it all so took some home. Support your local restaurant and this lovely family from the Hutt”

“Denny’s Porirua – Comfort, Consistency & Nostalgia I grew up visiting Denny’s in Auckland as a child, and walking into the Porirua Denny’s brought that same sense of nostalgia rushing back. I love that even after all these years, nothing has really changed — the menu, the plates, the atmosphere — it’s all wonderfully consistent and familiar. The staff at the Porirua location were kind and attentive, ensuring we were well looked after. While it can be a little pricey, I find it’s definitely worth it for a meal thats made with care and consistency. When I've visited, the restaurant is always clean, tidy, and usually nice and quiet, which makes for a relaxing dining experience. A classic that continues to deliver comfort food, good service, and that timeless Denny’s feel. Highly recommend the Porirua location!”

The friendliest staff you’ll ever meet and my mixed Kebab on rice was delicious. Kebabs are my regular option and I pick them up from all over town, but this place has just shot up the rankings - I’ll definitely be back, a lot!!!”
