Friendly staff and great food! Strongly recommend their fries which are different from any other Columbus Coffee in Wellington. Chicken panini is also a must try there. Great food with good price. Loved their pretzel BLT but no longer offered... Sad....
Awesome spot! Loved sitting out in the garden. Went on a super busy Wednesday at lunch time. Place was super busy and staff were amazing. So friendly and onto it working like a real team. Great service from everyone and wicked avo on toast too! Keep it up guys
Food was fine but service was terrible. A staff member took our table number before all of our food had arrived. Assured us she knew where we were sitting. Then staff tried to deliver our remaining food to a different table and didnβt bring it to us. We had to go ask for our meal which was pretty cold. No apology was offered.
Columbus Coffee Petone was our sneaky Sunday Brunch Date location this weekend. As always, the service and meals were impeccable. The smiles & banter of the staff are so welcoming, and we really enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food. Today we sampled the eggs benny with mushrooms and the big breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection (soft n runny for him, and a bit firmer for myself). The #pinkyslice is sooo moreish, it hit the sweet spot too. Thanks team for being such awesome people and providing wonderful meal options.
A bit of a wait on our mochas & breakfast meals on Saturday. Arrived at 9am & wasn't to busy. Enjoyed our coffees, Eggs Benedict & Big Breakfast, though the toast on both plates were hard crusted & cold.
I do not normally like to give bad reviews however we have going to this cafe for many years and thought we would treat ourselves. We love the variety of food on offer in their cabinet, however today it was not the same. Bad mistake. Arriving just on 12.30pm we thought we might not get a table as the carpark was quite full outside. However there only 4 tables occupied.I ordered our food and went to the table where my husband was sitting. He asked me to look around. Every empty table had food on it that had not been cleared and the table we had still had crumbs on it No atmosphere at all and when my Bennie bagel arrived I realised it had been changed to a Bennie roll. Actually it was in an english muffin which is not a roll. Did we get value for money. No! I think this will be the last time we will visit. So sad.
I had lunch here with my neice really delicious, would come back any time, coffee delicious too
What a great place for coffee. Excellent service and quality food. The raspberry shortcake is so good I had to take one home with me!
So my favorite thing to do before work is stop in here for my spinach and cream cheese muffin and a coffee - staff are just so lovely and I have been doing this for years. Unfortunately, the new owners have changed the muffins and it is now feta and capsicum - I tried it and to be fair, will not be back now. It fell apart (feta crumbling everywhere), no cream cheese (my fav part) in the middle, and the capsicum was just overpowering it's all you could taste. I'm so disappointed :-(
