   Just another struggling cinema. Turned up in time for my session as advertised on the website for 7.20pm - locked out of mall entrance! Advised by a cleaner that they lock the outside door after start of last movie session - the 'start' was 7.00pm when the ads started before the movie proper. Oh, and the manned but closed counter wouldn't sell me a ticket. Had to use the overly complicated ticket machine. As was inevitable after these hassles my movie was well under way by the time I was seated.

   Went to late afternoon movie today. Lack of heating in the cinema made it an extremely uncomfortable experience. Temperature outdoors was approximately 7 degrees and indoors felt the same. Very hard to concentrate on a movie when your teeth are chattering

   Disappointing experience at Event Cinemas Coastlands. Staff member's handling of a situation with my nephew in the men's bathroom was rude and insensitive. Despite explaining the circumstances, the response was defensive and unhelpful. Unfortunate end to what started as a great experience. Hoping for better customer service in the future.

   The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and sometimes I think more people need to attend. Cinemas are clean and chairs are comfy. Tuesdays are 1/2 price so definitely worth an outing.

   Just as the first time I attended this to now, GREAT! Professional staff and really helpful, excellent check in system, and really really well kept ablutions. Hygienic! Also very well cleaned cinema and comfy seating to help you kick back and relax as you enjoy your latest favourite movie! My family and I went to Event Cinema Coastlands to watch GRAND TARISMO! And wow, was this a great idea! Sound was tops! Picture was crisp! Excellent experience, thank you! (The novelty and nostalgia of going to watch a movie at a cinema cannot be beaten!)

   Great cinema, but their prices were displayed wrong and when we sat down our seats were wet. We told the people working and they just took the towel off it and left. Had to sit on our jerseys, disgusting.

   The movie was great once we got there. I felt so sorry for the poor person that was trying to get through the queue of customers wanting tickets, food, and drinks. Would have thought they would have more staff on at least 30 minutes before the start of the movie.

   7/04/2023 - 6.20pm screening of AIR The manager who looked after us at the candy bar was incredible in helping us with tickets, letting us know the deals during every week, and making sure we had everything we needed - even took us to the theatre entrance and opened the door for us. Great hospitality, followed by a great movie. Cheers to the manager. Thank you, sir.
