   Great cinema with a good range of films - love coming here for the school holidays. Easy enough to find street parking near by. Cafe on-site has nice food and drink and makes for an easy trip out. Had a good value pack - $10 for small popcorn, fizzy drink and small bag of lollies with this visit. Worth noting that Cinema 3 upstairs doesn't have a lift access so was a bit of a challenge for granny to trek up and down there, but we made it. Smaller building and cafe area means it can get a bit busy at times, not always able to find a table but worth it when you can.

   NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY + VERY RUDE SERVICE I called earlier in the day to ask about food options and preparation, as I have allergies. I quickly realised Empire is not allergy friendly – which is absolutely fine, so my partner and I decided to bring our own safe snacks. When we arrived and were in line for tickets, one of the staff members (who was already serving other customers at the time) decided to loudly yell across the café: “You can’t bring those snacks in, that’s not allowed.” We said “ok” and were prepared to take them back to the car – but she yelled again, even louder, that it wasn’t ok. She continued to repeat herself, stating “our bosses watch the cameras for people like you…” – people like us?! We were left shocked, embarrassed, and publicly singled out, even though we made no fuss and were cooperating. I’ve worked in hospitality and understand policies, but the way this was handled was unnecessarily rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. We walked away feeling disrespected, not welcomed. for reference, we had two separate people come up to us to ask if we were ok. It was very confronting for others as well. Maybe, you should invest in some safety and customer service training for your workers.

   We had eggs and calamari. The eggs had nice rosti but could have been a little runnier. The portion size was good. Calamari was tender. Chips were good. Tiramasu and brownie were very good. Nice, clean space with plenty of room. Family friendly. Service was pleasant. Would recommend for a reliable, nice, chilled weekend brunch.

   A really neat and trendy cafe. Watched Sound of Freedom as well and was sorry to see only 3 others in the show. All in all a great experience and good coffee!

   Lovely setting for a meal and drinks were great but our food was absolutely dreadful. Would not recommend eating here at all and will not be a returning customer. Additionally to being stone cold, the falafel and pitas were so dry and stale it was hurting my teeth to bite into them. Not cheap ($22) for such a poor meal.

   I love this place. The food & snacks are so reasonably priced for a theater and it’s a really fun atmosphere to get dinner & see a movie. The food is really good (though I’d love to see more vegan options) and the popcorn/drink combo is reasonable (plus the popcorn comes in a cute little box & the soda comes in a glass!). Tuesday night movies for $10 is such a good deal. And the people who work here are really friendly. Definitely recommend for a night out.
