   Great coffee but it took an inordinately long time. The scones were as flat as a pancake but still good. Staff seemed busy chatting than attending to orders when they were ready. Perhaps I just visited on a bad day?

   Just finished up a lovely night with the girls celebrating one of our friend's birthdays. We were served and looked after by the wonderful staff Rob. Want to say we were so impressed by his customer service, he went above and beyond and made our night a core memory. thank you Rob and staff for a wonderful night will be back next month!

   The Focal Point Café was a great little pit stop during our trip. We were especially grateful that it opened earlier than most other shops, which was a lifesaver on ANZAC Day when options were pretty limited. I ordered the pork belly burger—it was okay, but it tasted a bit more like a fried cutlet rather than slow-cooked pork belly. Still, it was decent enough to satisfy the hunger after a long drive. My friend tried the dumplings, which we found to be super expensive for what they were, but they mentioned that the Thai salad was actually really fresh and tasty. Overall, The Focal Point Café served its purpose well: a clean, friendly place with decent food when you’re in need of a solid stop. Wouldn’t mind popping in again if we’re passing through.

   I wanted to like it more... 3 meals were 'all perfecto', just as described, and my eggs wee cooked to my very exacting standards! Bro had a mammoth burger with gorgeous giant buns, really clean and fresh looking and he loved it. Yummy chips came with that, I say yummy 'cos I helped myself. It was just the wait time for the meals. And the coffees came well after, not before the food, with one forgotten, but politely refunded with no questions. Based on the cabinet food's supreme visual quality, and the delightful menu, and good food we had, I'm gonna say Focal Point were either, under the pump with heavier than usual trade for a Saturday brunch, or were suffering staffing challenges like so many of our awesome hospo outlets. I'm DEFINITELY GONNA GO AGAIN in about 3 weeks when we pass thru, at the same time and see how it is, and if timing issues are gone will make it a regular when we pass thru, and add more stars for sure.

   We regularly go for coffee here. 4 to 6 times a week. Recently they had an offer to load on my focal point card and prepay for 10 coffees. I asked the staff if that covered our regular orders. They said yes . ( I have decaf) I have already used it a few times....no problem. Today the Manager tried to charge me extra and I thought she was very rude . Shes not the friendliest to deal with. On principal what's the point of buying a loyalty card ?? If they charge for extras

   Lovely cafe/restaurant, went for lunch and a movie. Huge plate of chips with aoli and tomato sauce, good atmosphere and great coffee. First time I'd ever been there at all and impressed. Movie theatre was excellent, huge comfy lounge style seats, well air conditioner. Great!

   I went out to dinner at the Cafe with my family. It was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and kind. We received great service and delicious food. I had the crispy chicken hamburger with fries which was fantastic. It was very filling and quite reasonably priced for just over $20. It was my first time here but it seems very popular as there was quite a number of people also dining in. While we ate I also saw a few people go in and out of the cinemas. Seems like the place to go if you are in Levin.
