“Went out on a charter for my birthday with a few friends and we had a fantastic experience. We caught as much fish as we could take home in just an hour! Alita and Tom surprised us with a cute lil cake and the big lunch they provided was delicious, especially the freshly caught fish that was fried up! After catching as much fish as we wanted, we anchored close to shore off an island, snorkelled, and harvested a few sea urchins to try(with some prompting and direction from Tom). We were also lucky enough to momentarily see dolphins alongside the boat! Overall a fantastic day out on the water with a very friendly crew who were knowledgeable and easy going. “We had a great day tour with Orca! We found 3 pods of dolphins that swam alongside the boat being really playful. Stopped for lunch at a local island where you could do some snorkelling with the crew / guides and a BBQ lunch was cooked for us. Great value for money (day was approx 8hours), so highly recommend!”

“It was sn overcast day when we stopped in at the falls and we expected it to be quiet. To the contrary the place was bustling with people walking their pooches and tourists snapping photos. The place was well kept and clearly signposted so you couldn't get lost. Amenities were in good shape too surprisingly! If you have some time or a pup to walk or you're looking for that cool photo background, McLarens could be your spot!!!”

“Easy walking for all ages. Serene and bird song indicates it's not poisoned. A half hour or one hour loop. You will want to take some photos. Its beautiful. Plus the stream across the road. Sit in the rocks and put your feet in the water. Enjoy the picnic table areas. Come along a few doors further for an incredible massage with Donna at Master Life . A complete wellbeing experience here in nature rich whakamarama. Only 10 mins drive from omokoroa/and 6 mins from the main road”

“The Okere river is famed for its kayaking and white water rafting which if you are lucky you’ll be able to watch from some of the view points. Some great scenery and a chance to get close to the water. There are some trails to walk and a decent amount of car parking.”

“It's a really lovely walk to see some rapids and waterfalls. We didn't see them, but people do white water rafting and kayaking on this river! Not sure if they go down the waterfall, but that'd be incredible to see. The walk wasn't epic, we did it with a baby strapped to us and it was doable.”

“We had the most amazing experience on this seafari, apparently we got super lucky because we ended up spitting 4 different dolphin pods. Didn’t get to swim with the dolphins since all the pods had juveniles, but still it was amazing to just enjoy them from the boat and learn all about them from the crew.”
