Great park and playground for kids. Heaps of climbing things, swings and water play stuff. Awesome Hairy Maclary statues that are great to photograph with your kids
Brilliant sculptures - if you've read the books to your kids you and they will love them - if not read your kids the books!
The kids had the best time ever. Loved naming the animals and searching out each one. You can spend quite a bit of time searching and playing as an activity before you even get to the playpark next door. Suitable for various ages too. Different heights mean our 1 yo and 5 yo both had fun climbing and playing around the statues.
Lovely sculpture, excellent area to walk about for kids and fur babies.
Hairy Maclary and Friends Sculptures on the waterfront. The sculptures are a favourite with the young ones, as many sit on or next to the statues to take photos with them. The sculptures are behind a fence, with a sign next to it. You won't miss from the water side if walking by
If you read all the Lynley Dodd books to your children then these statues are a must see! Very well made and the kids love them!
Love visiting Hairy and gang, easy walk. Lots of shops close by and swing great for kids.
Really appreciate the waterfront, family friendly, steps down to the estuary to dip your feet. Hairy Maclary dog, water feature, and playground. Nice to go there after dinner at the nearby restaurants.
Such a neat little display of sculptures, all the favourite characters with amazing details. Great spot to visit and right next to a playground. Highly recommend checking it out
