Limited parking but stunning views. Depending on your level of bravery, you can stand on the bridge, go down onto the rocks or cross the water to the island.
Beautiful spot to pull over 2 mins ride off main road. Absolutely make time to see on your drive through to Hamilton. Cafe not far from bridge.
It was sn overcast day when we stopped in at the falls and we expected it to be quiet. To the contrary the place was bustling with people walking their pooches and tourists snapping photos. The place was well kept and clearly signposted so you couldn't get lost. Amenities were in good shape too surprisingly! If you have some time or a pup to walk or you're looking for that cool photo background, McLarens could be your spot!!!
Most excellent location that’s well maintained and stunningly beautiful. The disc golf course in the park is magnificent! The falls are really really cool to look at and crawl about - can’t believe this is so close
What a gem to explore … amazing walk by the lake and dam to look to . Lots of birds. Cafe needs training certainly . The staff at cafe are rude , very self obsessed and you can see that they have no interest to work in that place . Apart from that . You will find lovely people walking around. Lot of fruit trees…. And an absolute gold to visit .
Always interesting regardless of water volume. Be very Intriged to see it with a lot of water.
Had the right footwear, gumboots, to visit during winter. I was able to clamber on to rocks and step in shallow water without getting wet feet. No one else there on a beautiful sunny morning. Absolutely gorgeous!
Awesome area to wander around watching and listening to the power of the water moving down the gorge. Stunning place.
A lovely little waterfall with lots of different paths. Note a dam up-stream limits the flow, but this is opened sometimes during the year, causing the stream to flood at much higher levels than shown. A great place to explore. Photos with more water were taken Feb23 after the cyclone, while photos with little water were taken April 23
There is limited parking on the lefthand side of the road just before the bridge. Additional parking after the bridge further up the road. You can view the falls from the bridge or walk on top of the rocks and get a close up view. A beautiful spot, with so many photo opportunities
