The Council has made a good start at improving this park. We ADORE the figs! Wish we had more fruit trees at this park for snacking during playtime.
Weekly visits for our grandies. The addition of the Beach Toys help Mum's not to have to bring the kitchen sink especially when parking is difficult.
Kulim Park is one of our favorite spots in Tauranga! It has an awesome view of Mauao/Mount Maunganui and so much to do for the whole family—playground, flying fox, basketball court, BBQs, and even a beach for swimming. Plenty of space, great facilities, and perfect for kids’ birthday parties! We had also come to see the sunset in this park/beach and it was amazing!! Just visited this park again recently, noticed that there were a few improvements. More seating spots near the basketball court.
Such a beautiful spot! We went down for fish and chips for dinner. Plenty of areas for the boys to ride their bikes and run around. The playground is awesome! Highly recommend this spot for a fun filled afternoon in the sun!
This park/beach has almost everything you could ask for. Absolutely beautiful views. Nice calm shelly beach for the kids. A very cool stash of community toys for the kids to play with in the sand. We had my Mum with us, and before we went, I was worried about accessibility - however on arrival I was super impressed how the disabled parks are so close to the centre of things - it was a gentle very short walk for her to a park bench. The toilets are right there too and the playground has everything a kid could want, including a dual side by side flying fox. Perfect for families. The only thing that would have made it even more amazing is a wee coffee cart or shop - But not really necessary!.
Beautiful spot for a stroll along a board walk beside the estuary. A fun play area for the children and a stretching/limbering area for adults too. Parking is right where the action is.
Lovely local family park! The picnic and BBQ facilities were top-notch, making it the perfect spot for a fun-filled day with loved ones. The lush green surroundings & views of the Mt provided a delightful backdrop for our outdoor feast. The well-maintained grills and ample seating areas made it easy to cook up a delicious BBQ spread. We see kids having a blast running around the spacious playground and engaging in various activities. Whether you're looking to host a relaxed picnic or a lively BBQ gathering, this park has everything you need for a memorable day outdoors
Kulium Park is a lovely local park in the Otumoetai area on the water front where you can view Mount Maunganui. There is a great playground for children to play with a flying fox and a basket ball court, platonk area, adults bars and board walks along the water front.
Beautiful setting for walks along the beach front and great playgrounds for the kids and adults to enjoy . Looking at the scenery is spectacular to see the Mount and wharfs across the other side .
Such a lovely park to bring the kids and dog. Playground is all new, has a Zipline and basketball court too. Just around the corner is Kitchen Republic in Bureta for good coffee to bring here. Nice tables for meals and space for picnics. Parking can be busy but nearby streets are an option.
