This place is so special. I loved getting to check out a bunch of different animals (some more closely than others!) and getting a huge walk in in the process. We were particularly lucky to go at a time where a new deer and some new piggies had just been born - that felt really special. I’m so sad this place is up for sale, and I’m hoping it doesn’t shut down. It really is a great place for kids, couples or friends to go and interact with some cute fuzzies (or scary emu lol). One note is that I do wish there were supervisors at the Guinea pig and rabbit petting station, but I must admit that all the visitors were extremely respectful and showed respect to the guidelines with them as far as I saw. :)

We took our 18-month-old twins and they absolutely loved it. The interaction with the animals was fantastic, especially being able to feed them. It was a lovely walk around the park and very stroller-friendly, which made the visit easy and enjoyable. A great day out for families with young children β€” we’ll definitely be back.

A really nice variety of animals and things to see, the animals all look cared for and have loads of space to roam. Pet food at the front is a great add on for only $2 and the kids will love being able to interact and feed some of the animals... don't bring your flash shoes as some parts tend to be a bit muddy especially after it has rained.... but overall great animal park and suitable for all ages.

Awesome park. Great view, so many animals. It will take your stress away.

We visited last year and had such a memorable timeβ€”my kids absolutely loved it. There are chickens and goats freely roaming around, which was such a fun and unique experience for them. They also got to see horses, deer, sheep, guinea pigs, and more! We arrived just before lunchtime and brought some snacks, which worked out well. There are picnic tables and grassy spots where families can relax or lay out a picnic blanket (we saw quite a few doing that). At the entrance, you can buy animal feed for just a few dollars per bag, and there was also a scheduled time for pony ridesβ€”which my boys thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Just a heads-up: the paths are a mix of soil, sand, and gravel. I had my youngest in a pram, and it was a bit of a bumpy ride, so we took our time navigating through. There’s decent parking available, but I’d recommend coming early, especially in summer when it might get busy. We also grabbed some ice cream afterwardsβ€”they sell them on site, which was a nice treat to end the visit. Highly recommend for a fun, hands-on animal experience for kidsβ€”we’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to take kids. Friendly staff. Can be a wee bit pricey but no time limits and the park is very well maintained. Animals look well cared for. Kids can be kids in their element with nature here. The flying fox is great fun. Bring a picnic.

Noticed this place on the map while we were checking out the nearby falls and thought I'd stop buy. It's cute, cheap and they let you take your car through. I loved feeding the deers, that was something I always wanted to do. My only complaint is that I feel really bad for the bunnies and what not in the small cages. Hopefully they get lots of love.

Came here with the kids. Absolutely loved it. It was my first time and there is so much to see! The kids ranging from 4 through to 14 enjoyed themselves. There are seats at the start and also near the swings and flying foxes so you can stop for lunch. Prices for entry were reasonable, leave some extra change for the feed. One bag per person for the kids and I think you can easily get away with one bag between two for the adults

Awesome animal park to take the kids to. It's located with the McLaren Falls Park, so make a day of it. Reasonably priced and the park is nicely spaced out. We'll maintained paths and you can feed most animals. The guinea pigs were a hit with the young ones, as you get to cuddle them. Bug spray is recommended
