“A minor fault but the microwave was stuck on child lock so couldn't be used. Did ask for help but no feed back about it. The hot water for a shower took about 5 mins to arrive so if you turn on the hot then go make a cup of tea it's just arriving when your done. Awesome being so close to everything though.”
“For our stay it was amazing. Nice clean and tidy room, welcoming and helpful staff, great location to the CBD and events we were attending. I will note for the room we had the view wasn't the greatest, but we were there for the events not the view from the room.”
“Really nice room and great staff service. Felt really welcomed and looked after. A little bit out of the way from the centre of town but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend.”
“Friendly welcome. Great central location on bus route from airport. Upgraded room spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Very good well priced dinner and excellent breakfast. Great value.”
“Our two-night stay in Urbanz Queenstown was extremely pleasant! Each bed had its own personal nightlight and outlets and a curtain for privacy, though the curtain didn’t go past the bunk ladder. The bedding was super comfortable and towels were provided. Toilet paper wasn’t always available in all of the bathrooms. The showers were a decent size and there were hooks and shelves for your belongings. The hostel location is pretty central to the city which is very convenient and walking distance to the botanic gardens and nearby shops. At reception, we were advised of some parking spaces which were free 24/7, which was pretty nice. The wifi was pretty bad in all areas of the hostel, and the layout is confusing because there’s no singular staircase that takes you to all the floors, you’ll need to weasel your way around to make your way to the kitchen. Reception isn’t always staffed, so if the sliding door is unlocked during the “open” hours, the hostel isn’t very secure as you can access almost any part of the hostel without a key card once you get past reception. The cost for the two nights we stayed was reasonable. The kitchen was well stocked, absolutely beautiful and had an abundance of space for both dry and cold storage. I’d stay here again!”
“Great place I say. Nice and quiet, the pools are quintessential kiwi, 3 temperatures so something for everone, but the building has lots of history to it and gorgeous. The BLT was top draw for a lunch and we'll presented. Staff were polite and professional. 5 stars from us.”
“I recently visited the Horse and Jockey Inn, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The Room was cosy, which immediately made me feel at home. The food was exceptional! The menu had a great variety of dishes. The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and ensure that I enjoyed my experience. The friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest. Overall, I highly recommend the Horse and Jockey Inn for anyone looking for a fantastic experience. The food, service, and ambiance all exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning soon.”
“My stay at this hotel was wonderful! The room was good and clean, though not very well maintained. Overall, it was still a comfortable stay with decent service and value for money The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was quick and efficient, making the whole experience stress-free. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere felt very pleasant. Definitely a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and good hospitality at a genuine price.”
“We stayed at this beautiful place while in Waiuku for a close family bereavement. We rang quite late the first night and it was not a problem at all to arrive in the dark, quite stressed and very tired. Our other accommodation prebooked for the following few days was disgusting so we rang Phyllis and Jim to see if we could return for 5 more nights. Nothing was an issue. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable at a very sad time. The grounds are beautiful and calming. The spa and sauna were a blessing. The breakfasts are yum. The birds, cows, chickens and bunny rabbits were entertaining. We would not stay anywhere else in Waiuku. Can’t thank them enough. Arohanui Lisa, Adrian and Brady”
“Our 2-night stay at this picturesque lodge was made unforgettable by the breathtaking scenery and the warm hospitality of John and Sharon.”
“John and Ping were absolutely amazing hosts! Their house was beautiful and they were so accommodating. I highly recommend booking this B&B whenever you stay in Christchurch. From the food recs and the complimentary continental breakfast to the genuine conversations we shared, I cannot express the amount of hospitality John and Ping provided us!”
“Chestnut Lane Cottage is a gem to stay in for your tour to Hobbiton. There are 233 perfect #5 ratings online and after we stayed it was easy to see why every guest was impressed. Starts with the superior service from the on-site owners and hosts, Kathleen and John. The cottage is spacious and cute too, with a private bedroom, ensuite bathroom and a open living area with kitchen. Fast WiFi, Sky TV, DVRs, and breakfast is included in the cottage with views of the fields and mountain. Quiet, clean, well equipped and delightful was our experience at Chestnut Lane. Did I mention the freshly baked scones or arrival? Kathleen is the kindest host ever and John is ready to help too! !”
“Awesome stay, right across from the beach, walking distance to eating out.... Great place to put your head down or sit and watch the world go by during the day...”
“We have been booking travel with Caroline at World Travellers in Milford, Auckland for the last few years. She is an excellent travel agent that knows her stuff and she has booked us some amazing holidays and tailored them to our needs as a family. This of course has changed over the years as our boys have gone from childhood into the teenage years. She has always made excellent suggestions and provided us options to choose from.”
“A very pleasant stay. Lovely hosts and brilliant amenities. Just what a B & B is all about. Many thanks.”
“I thought it would be cold in the South Island in winter, but instead it was sunny and tree-lined. I'm in Lincoln, staying at Chateau Pritchard. It's not far from Christchurch, but it's quieter than Christchurch. There's a famous university here, Lincoln University. It is easy to drive to various attractions from here. The owners are an amiable couple with their gentle dog. I loved walking barefoot on the grass in their garden in the morning, listening to the birds singing and soaking up the sun. At night we sat in the open-air SPA bathtub and looked up at the skyfull of stars. Barbara, the owner of the house, a lady with a sweet smile, can cook all kinds of delicious food. During our stay, she gave us a lot of help, just like our relatives. I highly recommend it and would choose to stay here next time if I had the chance.”
“Beautiful country estate to escape the city and contemplate in silence”

“Our stay at Matamata Country B&B was pure luxury ! The room is beautifully decorated with many interesting and practical features, and thoughtful attention to detail. Kylie was so welcoming, helpful and generous. We felt very spoiled with all the delicious food, ample breakfast supplies, hot, home-baked bread and cake. The location was pretty, peaceful and well positioned in relation to the town and Hobbiton. Highly recommend a stay.”
“Beautiful location, highly recommended A ++++++ , cottage is wonderful, had a wonderful stay.”
“We have been to The Bach in Ohwauti twice now and have been looked after exceptionally well by Delwyn and Lindsay. We would highly recommend the Batch to everyone. The home made bread, biscuits and all the other treats were a wonderful surprise. We had a nice relaxing time. Grant and Robyn”

“A quiet and cozy house with nice view, heart here.”
“We booked Matangi Truffles for our friends who were flying from Australia for our Son's Wedding. They could not speak more highly of their stay. Thank you for making them feel so welcome, for providing such a comfortable, spotless unit.”
“We recently had the pleasure of sharing this beautiful accommodation with friends from two other families, all of us with children. The heated pool and expansive grounds were a fabulous way of keeping the children entertained, and each family had their own space to retreat to away from the shared living areas if they needed to work or some time out. Jenny & Rob are impeccable hosts, who respected our privacy but were also only a message away if we needed them. We will definitely be back to enjoy their hospitality again in the future. Five stars just don't to justice to Te Puna Point Retreat.”
“Great location, lovely couple highly recommend if staying in the Tauranga area”
“1000% My new favourite place to eat... Staff is very friendly and the Kim Jong Un colouring pictures were very satisfying to use. Loved the atmosphere/aesthetic of the place. Not many restaurants go for a "Decrepit Dungeon" sort of feel but I like the change :) Another awesome feature which separates the experience of Chen's Food Court from other boring restaurants is the wide variety of meals. My personal favourite meal is the "Mystery Meat", though there are also options for vegetarians such as "Fresh Moss" or "Black Mold". Overall, definitely a 10/10 dining experience and you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be eating here again!”
“A tropical.paradose in the heart of east Auckland Absolutely amazing place, highly recommended.”
“Amazing service from Island Orewa . I chose a gift online for a friend and they were outstanding. Thankyou”
