   Everything 4 of us wanted for 3-nights' stay during a hectic Scottish Country Dancing King's Birthday Weekend School nearby. Warm, well laid out, spotlessly clean, very comfortable warm beds, clear instructions for entering, welcoming host, very relaxing surroundings outdoors, lovely tree view from dining room & bedrooms, everything to make our stay enjoyable. A very informative walk & talk on request with our host, giving knowledge all about Truffles - an unknown to us! Thank you Byron - we had everything at our finger tips during our stay so we will be back. Very grateful to you for your putting time into the boutique studio accommodation & we really appreciated your friendliness towards us.

   My daughter, g'daughter, and I have stayed at Matangi Truffle Lodge for three years now. Every Dec/January we travel to Hamilton to visit with family and 3 yrs ago we found this little gem. My g'daughter recognises it as her 'holiday home' & she especially loves the pool. Sue and Peter are wonderful hosts. The cottage is always lovely, the beds are wonderful, its quiet, the surrounding countryside is beautiful (we have seen many changes), actually we just love coming back and shall do so as long as the cottage is available. Neither my daughter or I (or my g'daughter) would stay anywhere else in the Waikato district.

   A homely, quiet and well appointed holiday home which adjoins the hosts home. Very peaceful surroundings with your own small private garden to soak up the morning and afternoon sun. Sue and Peter are lovely hosts who genuinely care about their guests and the local area.
