Stayed for 2 nights during our trip to NZ. Great location. Walking distance to Woolies. Good Mediterranean restaurant next door. The Indian restaurant and the restaurant in the hotel were closed for Christmas/boxing day. Nice kitchenette. The laundry was a bit costlier than I expected (6$ each per load for washer and dryer) but it was there. The hotel is very disabled friendly (wide for wheel chairs and handles in bathrooms ). The only issue was no shelf space in the bathroom to keep toiletries. The housekeeping was not available (due to Boxing Day) but they refilled supplies. The complementary bottle of milk was nice gesture.

Locations was great for the price as I was visiting family on this side of the city. Room was as expected for a 3 star. Room was comfortable for my stay and air con was great. My only concern as a travelling single women was the number of other hotel guests walking past my room and having a good nosy at me and my things. No net curtains on the single level room windows. These were hotel guests wandering past and not the neighbours. I did give feedback directly to the receptionist as I was leaving. If staying again, I would book a 2nd story room. There was no where to sit outside as there were no chairs as per the list.

For the money itβs great value and super clean. The rooms are serviced by housekeeping daily unless you prefer them not too. The restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner at weekends, and during the week you can only buy dinner. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Good facilities in the room, but theyβre not soundproofed so it can get noisy.

Looking for a wedding venue? This place was great! Attended one yesterday and the staff cleared plates quickly, were friendly and warm, and generally just did a great job looking after us. Food was great and vibe of the place was sharp and nice to be in. Plenty of parking too!

Really nice room and great staff service. Felt really welcomed and looked after. A little bit out of the way from the centre of town but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Went to the buffet in the 11/8/23 we wore a little early and but we could see the food was out already, when we got in to eat I looked at the food and the peas had some kind of skin on them kinda looked like it had been sitting for ages all the over food was over cooked and tasted disgusting and I got food poisoning from it had to go back to my room to vomit. When I went to speck to stuff they got me to write a letter so they could give it to there manager, it then toke two weeks for the manager to get back to me and all they are willing to offer for compensation is a voucher to go back witch is only valid for 12 months, I live in Auckland and arnt going back to Christchurch with in the 12 months. I would recommend to avoid this place as much as possible

Terrible service, waited over 2 weeks for a response to my complaint. The complaint was about the restaurant which was alot of money for food that made my spouse violently I'll. The service at the restaurant was aweful all the staff were so rude and couldn't be bothered dealing with me it's been over 2 weeks since our stay. The room was satisfactory bar the sky light.

Travelling for work for a night, comfy in this aspect, however the rooms very cold and run down. Very basic and no spare blankets at all and it was very cold. Not like the pictures.

My FiancΓ©e and I were pleasantly surprised by the food offered at the garden bar. We came in for breakfast and were the only people dining. We enjoyed the cabinet food. Chicken and Cranberry Panini, Salmon Quiche, Cheese Rolls and a Potato Hash. The food was incredible, so well priced, the salmon quiche was one of the best I've had and the cheese rolls are excellent. I would be keen to come back and try the buffet as that looked pretty impressive!
