Park Hotel, Lambton Quaya 4 star hotel, which stood up to ranking. Hotel staff/riom service personnel were low key but good.  Room was Clean, as was kitchnette. Place was not excessively roomy, 3 bedrooms, but ok for 5 of us for a couple of nights.

Family stay in a 2 bedroom unit. Our unit was furnished nicely. Seemed relatively new but could use a fresh coat of paint in certain areas. Appliances were working well and unit came stocked well with essentials good for 4 people. My only complaint was the heat function of the a/c in the bedroom we stayed at was not working (hence the separate heating unit). The "technician" who assessed said it was working. With no air blowing out. Right. Housekeeping was phenomenal at refilling laundry, dishwashing and bathroom items. Front desk staff were AMAZING in making sure our needs were met. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip as the location is very close to everything.

I agree with others that this hotel is very overpriced for what it is. Our room (407) had a giant post in the middle, which made it really unpleasant and claustrophobic/cramped. No table to eat at. Bedside lamp only on one side of the bed. Not that clean (dirt in the handles of kitchen cabinet doors, top of desk looked like it had stains in it or was just old and past being cleanable to be presentable, some dead small bugs and marks in bottom of bath, shower glass door and seal at the point where it looks hard to clean and needs replaced). We didn't think this was so much cleaning staff issue (who were very friendly) but more that the hotel is just getting to a run down stage where it is hard to make it look nice. Shower over bath not accessible for anyone that might have difficulty climbing over high bath edge. Zero marks for sustainability (no in room recycling, all disposable for bathroom toiletries). Noisy at night. Not much noise from outside but the ceiling in our room was very loudly creaking and stopped us getting to sleep till well after 1 am. My daughter had an important exam the next day, so this was not great. I don't know if the creaking was caused by people above us or what. Price is way too high. Our first night was charged at $206 but our second night at $317! For the same room. Totally unacceptable price for what it is compared with others in the area. I would be slightly less annoyed if both our nights were around $206 but the $317 is a huge over charge. Have stayed at Quest 256 (amazing, 5 stars from us) and Gilmer (also pretty great, 4 stars from us) in recent weeks that are all in the same area. Their amenities are similar but rooms are much nicer, more modern, cleaner etc. We won't be booking at Park again and will return to Quest 256 as our preferred option (was sold out for our dates this trip), Gilmer as a back up, and then any other hotel in the area rather than this.

A minor fault but the microwave was stuck on child lock so couldn't be used. Did ask for help but no feed back about it. The hot water for a shower took about 5 mins to arrive so if you turn on the hot then go make a cup of tea it's just arriving when your done. Awesome being so close to everything though.

Very disappointing. We felt that our room needs an update. The staff needs to be more helpful with information. This trip was for our 50th Wedding Anniversary treat to be staying in a nice hotel with a restaurant and going to 'WOW!' 'WOW!' was great but the hotel was not unfortunately what we were expecting.

Looks like they keep little to no staff around, and check-in / check-out procedure is not very well explained.

Room was clean, reasonably sized for the price and came with a bed that was comfortable. Did not interact with the staff aside from a 1 minute conversation about the wifi. Its the perfect location for visiting the main attractions!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were amazing and the room was great. These staff were extremely hospitable and kind to me during my trip. One staff member especially stood out, someone by the name Tiresa. She was extremely helpful and her customer skills were exceptional, she made my stay much more enjoyable and I would like to thank her. I will definitely be back!

Our room was a bit on the small side for the price, but perfectly adequate for a weekend in the capital. It's in a good location and only a short walk to all the main attractions. Didn't have much to do with the staff but they were pleasant enough on check-in and check-out. The room was cosy and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a decent enough size and clean, shower was good.
