“I can’t speak highly enough about this motel and the awesome owners Brendon and Tina. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay, even allowing us an early check-in and late checkout to work around medical appointments. Brendon even brought in some mobility aids to make life easier in the unit. It was like a home away from home for us…spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped and very handy to some great eateries. They even had pot plants to give it a homely feel. We will definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Christchurch.”

“Came across this place when looking for a place to stay in Little River after cycling the Rail Trail and before venturing further into the peninsula. This place was amazing - it really was - I just wish I had more time than an overnight stop to enjoy it. The design philosophy and practice is totally inspirational. I hope to stay again one day.”

“Very friendly, and unlike others, don't talk to you with an air of superiority, always making you feel like you've been sold something. These guys have put down two of my pets and are so empathetic, and in testing my Rotty the first of the medicine was considerably cheaper than my last vet.”

“I've just finished working in Rangiora for 3 months. I stayed at The Riverstone Motel for the whole time and loved it. Quiet, convenient, and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for super friendly hosts Charlotte and Mike. Every evening I'd come back to the curtains drawn and the heat pump on. It's the little things that count.I recommend it 100% and would go back in a heartbeat.”

“Argo loves going to the team at Pet Doctors Hillcrest when he needs care - he is very mischievous and they understand the challenges this brings - chewing toys and furniture to destruction given any opportunity - a born chewer. He is treated superbly by the vets, nurses, and technicians. We trust that they have his care and good health at the fore when he's got appointments, or is in for observation.”

“Possibly the cleanest and newest place I stayed in NZ. The room was huge, bathroom was spacious, kitchen set up was nice with fridge. Highly recommend the stay at this lodge! Only downside is bit far from CBD so about 30min walk into town.”

“My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay over the Easter weekend , we stayed in room 17, it is nicely laid out spacoius and a really nice in room spa, not even a fire alarm could get my wife out of it. Thank you Fay and Chris for making us feel welcomed. Would have given a 10/10 if these allowed. We will definitely be back .”

“I saw it as/in passing to go to Salvation Army opportunity shop in Mosgiel. Two opp shops at least here. Wanted a place to stay the night, but could've ventured back home. Drove back after visiting Mosgiel's opp shops. Also getting sushi lunch there. Drove up, met reception, had a look at the room available, asked the price, then said "I'll take it." Later upon my return, I settled in and can report well worth staying. The room reaches my expectations, even the jug was clean, some places jug has rust inside! Thank you to Regency Motels Mosgiel. (In closing, HeHe, I often wonder with these reviews, what it would be like, if the host was to write a review about---ME!? And other guests report of me, same. “What a beautiful, caring & professional team - I am so grateful that a practice of this quality is so close to my home. Came in with my cat who had a mystery injury on her leg. Every check up, the vet has been so gentle with my cat, as well as thoroughly informative & considerate of my budget. They gave me a full written diagnostic of their findings & concerns, answered any questions I had & even a phone-call check-up the next day. Probably more expensive than other vets around but incredibly worth it bc they truly want the best for your pets. Thank you :)”

“Room was great, nice size, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. Cute little balcony/conservatory. Good walking distance to Go media stadium for concerts and events. We've booked again for another concert at eden park next year. Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for food nearby.”

Could barely hear the traffic despite being on a relatively busy road, and was very nicely located to the mall. 10/10”

The motel was perfectly located just across a major Supermart (Pak n Save), and their prompt service made check-in seamless.
