   Today I took my dog to Belfast Vet and came away most impressed. Dr Scott to the time to explain everything to me in plain english. Staff absolutely wonderful, sharp price ,a most pleasing outcome for dog and master. I can not speak highly enough of their expertise, prices and customer satisfaction. I only wish they had Afterpay as a payment option but than I dont know of any vets that do.

   My little maltese had to be euthanized tonight. Steve and Bridie were so, so caring of both my dog and the 3 of us who were obviously grieving the loss of a much-loved pet. I can only say how wonderful they were in seeing our pet have a beautiful end to her life. Our little dog was given dignity to the very end. Thank you.

   I went in to take my partner's large dog to the vet as his ear infection had gotten worse and my partner was overseas. He's reactive to other dogs so I was waiting by the back of the car where the dog was until the vet was ready. The vet came out the back of the buildling to call out that he was ready, and he gave me all of five seconds before impatiently calling out to bring him in again. The dog was in pain and didn't want to get out, and as he is large and heavy I wasn't able to get him out without forcing it. I was trying to coax him out and after not even a minute, the veterinarian then calls from the back of the buildling something along the lines of "You should be able to handle your own dog- can you handle him? Can you handle him?". At this stage another car with a dog arrives so I'm getting more stressed, which makes my partner's dog even less likely to want to come out of the back. I ended up getting told to come back as they can't see him from the car boot. This was in the space of 3 minutes at most. Pretty disappointed at the impatience and lack of empathy shown by the vet, insinuating that I can't "handle my own dog" that isn't even my dog, because as a small woman I couldn't get a 45kg dog out of the boot in 2-3 minutes. I had gone in a number of times with my partner with no issues, but had gone in another time once alone (when my partner was away) and felt like the vet was a bit condescening to me but I thought he was just having a bad day so I left it. This experience however was quite upsetting and I left in tears. The receptionists however were lovely.

   So happy to have Belfast Vet for our little Jack Russel 'Jazz' They have been there for her since she was a pup (17 years) and we have always admired the way Steve looked after Jazz when required. Last weekend Steve and Kat were very kind and responsive when unfortunately her time was up and we needed their services quickly. We have recommended other people to Steve / Belfast Vet and they have also been very please their services. We are still mourning wee Jazz at the moment, however should we get another pooch, we most certainly use their services again. +++++AAAAA

   Well steve the legend has done it again. Our Doberman greyhound cross whom is over 14 with giant oral tumor was able to get surgery and keep living her old lady life. He also gave our other old dog 6 more years many years ago with multiple operations. Not an expensive vet eithet
