Wonderful hand-slaughtered Halal chicken broast and burgers. Never had this even in Australia. Very friendly staff and family-friendly sitting environment.
Absolutely worth the money and time to wait. Spices work brilliantly together and the deals and taste are way better than KFC. Staff are nice, patient, welcoming to everyone, and they answer questions precisely without sounding vague. And Halal meat tastes way better, unironically. Why go to KFC when the meals are far better in Chicking?
Such a poor experience. Repeated the order 3 times for tandoori rice. Instead they gave us Tandoori wrap. The order took 30 minutes, how is that fast food? Guys you need to hire better staff who understand what the customer is saying. The guy had an earphones in one ear while talking to us. Really horrible experience.
Late note post pub food. Real good service. Thought the chicken was a bit spicey for me - gave me some non-spicey tenders. Top bloke.
Wow! Way better than I expected! First time trying Chicking after hearing and reading mixed reviews. A friend and I got the pack in the photo. We ordered the spicy chicken pieces. The spicy chicken was like KFC hot n spicy but probably even better, the chicken was so moist and delicious! Chips were good and burgers way better than the cheaper ones from KFC. 5 Stars, everything delicious!
Just ordered combo thru Uber Eats, never again. Ordered standard chicken, got spicey, 1 piece had literally 2tsp of meat, rest coasting and bone, 2 pieces were wings, coleslaw full of hard chunks of white cabbage…back to Texas Chicken for me, meal was not worth $24
This used to be our go to restaurant. Back when they would sometimes give free tandoori fries. Lately the food quality is really poor which is hard to understand considering their prices keep going up. Last time I ordered online for pick up I waited over an hour past the pick up time for my order, not busy and not even a sorry.
Premade chicken wrap reheated was just ok. Fries looked like it was the 3rd time cooked but were still stone cold. No serviettes with takeaway. Normally I only write good reviews but they need help. Nice staff at counter.
Great taste food, looks like hygiene issue is due to shortage of staff which is everywhere in the country. It’s not flashy like other Auckland stores but super busy. We were told to wait for 20 minutes but took 40 minutes to receive our order - either staff were new or don’t have good idea about the kitchen operations and orders in pipeline. In one of the quite street, hard to view from the Main Street unless you know the location or using GPS. Good thing is you can have parking
