   I had my son's birthday last weekend. We felt like the service was half-hearted and we received alot of condescending looks from the manager. We felt like the staff just wanted us to get done with our son's birthday and just leave quickly. We did not get our party rooms on the time were given (please note, we had called up to confirm timings), we had to work around with 10 kids and 6 parents cramped around 3 tables in the 'Cafe section', where we were told to feed our children. The food did not turn up on time and the manager put up arguments when we asked for 2 (TWO!!) paper plates for the kids. Since the food didn't turn up on time, we asked for the birthday cake which was again refused as they did not want us cutting cakes in the 'Cafe area'. They held back my son's birthday cake. The only solution (if we can call it that) that was provided was to finish my son's celebration in the party room within 10 minutes instead of the 1 hour we had paid for. Chipmunks is a fun place for the kids, thats why we go there. For the kids. May be its the ONLY place in Tauranga thats why we are treated that way. I believe the company is a national franchise and i feel that the whole situation could have been handled better. We are just a minority here but with us there were parents of 9 other children. They had the same impression as we did. What is done is done, we had our son's birthday there but we may not plan on having the next one there next year.

   Went for a birthday party.The party before ours were late leaving our reserved seating.Staff didn't clean tables and party room wasn't the cleanest either.We had to ask for the birthday cake and a Platter we had ordered didn't arrive.Disappointing

   Went there relatively early but only lasted an hour because of the noise and felt it was over crowded especially in the older kids side. There should be staff inside the playground itself as well to watch bad behaviors as some older kids wouldn't let my 5yr old moko on the slide so his aunty went in to sort it out. However they love it there and we like taking them there.

   Was invited there for a birthday party this Saturday. Was very busy and yet the facility was clean and well run. I order a coffee and got it quickly and it was a great coffee too. Thee kids food in the party room was really nice. My kid lt me have some hot chips and they were actually really nice. Well done to all the staff working there. Great experience.

   A great and wonderful place to have kids birthday parties. Celebrated my daughter's 10th today and kids absolutely enjoyed every moment. Charlie's appearance was great. However, customer service has some scope of improvement

   Great place to take your kids on a rainy day. However it would be great if they could enforce the age restrictions more. I had my crawling 1 year old in the baby area but there were way older kids there running around who shouldn't have been in there according to the age range that area was for. Felt unsafe at times for my baby to explore on her own out of fear they weren't going to see her and accidentally stand on her or trip over her

   Had a wonderful time at the newly renovated Chipmunk Tauranga. It's packed but fun for kids to play. Shout out to Dominic & the team who are so helpful and working so fast to serve the customers. Definitely going back again!

   Love the new layout, perfect for ages 1-4. Alot for them to play on. Best to go during school hours as it is Abit crowded and not much space,but otherwise enjoyable for the wee ones
