Well, service was great Ayla was our waitress and she was lovely. The food however, we booked after seeing this amazing restaurant level menu on the website to be greeted with burgers, pizzas and bar snack. Food was a let down but we still enjoyed our night out
Im disgusted in the duty managers behaviour tonight. I got cussed out and made to leave before id taken a sip of my drink for "disrespecting" her. When I asked how I got no answer and screamed at to leave, I tried asking what id done wrong and communicate but she wanted to scream at my so I walked away to drink my drink and get out because I felt grossly uncomfortable. We spent less than 10 minutes in her altogether. Then the maori male at the bar began shouting slurs about me so my friend told him off and they lost it so myself, my five year old, my partner and bestfriend finished our drinks and tried to leave. When trying to leave we for followed out by ONE worker and three male PATRONS. they were yelling because partner had an open bottle, when we screamed back that he either was allowed to take eit or finish it there she and one of the men got up in our faces with threats. He finished his drink and she called the police, so we parked on the road side to wait. Hilariously once they showed up they said that they had issued them with warnings and we shouldn't have been treated that way. It was horrible, unprofessional and immature. And to the table of men who sat and watched, you're pathetic for letting that happen to 22/24 year olds especially in front of my 5 year old at only 7 something at night when all we wanted was to play a game of pool before going home. Gross.
Owner was very friendly, awesome hosts. Made sure we were well looked after. Stayed at the accomodation part, value for money. Will come back again for sure in the summer.
A group of 15 people took my 18 year old nephew to the pub for his first time him being the youngest the rest of us including his parents all in our mid to late 40s and 50s firstly got denied entry as although he turned 18 that day they said he couldn’t go into the premises until the next day. After several conversations they allowed us in and when his mum the sober driver returned after dropping some people home they wouldn’t allow her entry as it was a little after 10.30pm bearing in mind his mother and the sober driver for us. Our group all left which left a total of maybe 20-30 people left in the pub. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour
Unless you like to wear your wine and chilly sauce would not recommend. Unfortunately for me I do prefer to eat my food and not take it home all over me. Started with incorrect menu, then had a full glass of wine spilt completely down my back drenching my only jumper shattering all over the floor we had to move tables due to the floor being unsafe. “This has never happened to me before” waiter said so casually. Then the night continued to get worse you wouldn’t believe it, good thing I don’t like chilly sauce because I ended up wearing it. Then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for a pizza which arrived after the entire table and finished eating. Personally would rather never ever come back but I’d love someone else to experience this.
Pizzas are delicious! The four cheese and margarita is my fav. Saturday night is a great spot for people to party, djs or music and dancing, lots of fun!
Came in here for tea the other night and was very disappointed :( the price of food was expensive considering it was store bought 8 leader and watt jalapeño poppers and chips for $22 and 2 Louisana chicken tenders and chips for $25 was unaware it wasn’t the same menu we seen online. Also the staff really rushed us and kept watching and talking about going home. Was quite shocked since it was a Friday night and only 8.15pm-8.30pm. The restaurant room was stunning but the food and service really let us down. Recommend going to the the flat white instead which is where we went on the Saturday to try and make up for a disappointing night out on Friday.
Ate at the restaurant in July 2023. Their menu is not what's on the website due to recent change in ownership which was really disappointing. Food was a bit average and nothing special, although I hear the pizzas are good. Service was friendly but quite slow for meals considering only three tables were occupied.
Dining here is amazing! Great service, best pizzas and great to bring young children as there is a playground out back, and you can sit in outdoor area to keep an eye on them! Made dinner quite enjoyable. Will come again, highly recommend!
