“Buddy absolutely loves coming to daycare! He goes twice a week and always runs into the back every morning to catch up with his doggy mates. The team are so lovely, super easy to deal with and the service is top tier! I couldn’t ask for better people looking after Buddy. Highly recommend League of Pups!!”

“Amazing stay at the lodge! The location is very close to town (5 min) and to Hobbiton (15 min). The studio was clean, comfortable and relaxing. My friend and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed all the goodies and breakfast provided daily. Mark even packed us a to go breakfast for our early departure. Everything was delicious. Mark and Glenn are great hosts and have a beautiful farm with stunning views and farm animals you can feed/pet. Highly recommended and would definitely return again. Definitely book this unique stay!”

“Everything about this place is what we think "First-Class". The friendliness of the owners, the 110% cleanliness, the many little extras that have been built in to this amazing space is incredible. Plenty of sensor lighting to help with our late night arrival. The mats in the bathroom!!! - never seen this sort of thing previously but after a full night of dancing, to put our feet on these mats relieved the tired and sore spots - they are INCREDIBLE. Such a comfortable bed - we are very happy to have found Denchy's - thank you Linda & Selena - beautiful place to stay - real luxury for us - tho it's small, it's very adequate for our needs along with such a caring environment.”

“Have just checked out after staying for 3 nights in the family suite & cannot recommend this place enough. They have thought of everything, from flannels specifically for makeup to chilled water in the fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable, the space was clean, tidy & enjoyable. The spa was an absolute highlight & the staff are great!”

“Amazing, friendly and Pawsome! I mean i can't talk highly enough of the team at Paws!.. I've been meaning to write this review for a while as Willow has been going for years. Willow loves coming to see the team, she has her favourite openers (Becs and Tams) she went from snoring in the back seat this week to full of excitement to see the team. The team are super friendly and always listen to any requests we have about our precious little one. It sets my day up perfectly seeing how Willow gets so excited to see the team and her doggy friends too! I know she's most likely in for a better day than I am lol As always, a big thank you to Jan and her team :)”

“We arrived very late at night and still it was no problem to our wonderful hosts who waited up for us. It was a rainy and cold night and it was wonderful to arrive to our preheated quarters. The place was very clean and modern, great decor and art throughout. It was my first stay at a BnB but I would have to say this place would have to be considered at the top end of BnBs. We enjoyed our peaceful and uninterrupted stay. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you Brett and Sally for making your home ours as well. AAA+++”

“Susan went for her first stay with Matt and the other cats. It was a lovely clean facility with plenty of room and sleep pods for cats to find their own space. Highly recommend and it’s good to know there is a place available for when you want to go away.”

“Great place to stay while visiting Hobbiton. The room we had was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast provided in the morning was filling and delicious, and the hosts were great! I managed to leave behind my Airpods and they were kept safe for me in a baggie with my name on it and the date of my stay.”

“We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Awa Retreat, what a lovely place to stay, the hosts Cathy and Murray are so friendly it is like meeting old friends, the apartment is clean and tidy and has all the comforts of home, the breakfasts are beautiful and the wild bird life just outside the property is just delightful. The location right beside the Mighty Waikato River is perfect, a stroll along the walkway was very relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the native trees flourishing in this pretty spot. “First time there yesterday - what an awesome facility! Dogs had a blast! Was wonderful for mildly reactive dog to have her own space & time to just have fun. Puppy was great with trying the agility equipment. And our senior gent did his usual wander around enjoying the smells. We will definitely be back.”

“The apartment was an unexpected pleasure to stay in. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and the service was an A+. I enjoyed eating over the road and could not resist trying the highly recommended fish from the nearby wharf. To our surprise, as we did not realize the sea in front of the Silos was so tidal, when we turned the lights out we could people spearfishing under headlamps just in front. Amazing.”

“I just had my little fur baby stay in the kennels with Petite Paws for the first time for 5 day’s. When I picked him up he was happy and clean. He also didn’t smell like he has when I’ve collected him from previous kennels he has gone to. It was nice to know he was with other fur friends his own size and able to be inside instead of outside over night. He is absolutely exhausted from his big weekend (which I love). Highly recommend this place for people with small dogs for both day care and overnight stays.”
