“Great spot, further out of town so cats are in a quiet farm setting. The owner really cares for all of them which means your cat isn't just a number. Each set of rooms has an enclosed outdoor space and they get to run around in it daily when it's their chance, rather than just having a small cage they stay in for the whole stay. The rooms and outdoor areas also look out onto the fields of sheep/pigs etc... so there is stimulation vs watching the side of a road or the opposite building.”

“Our three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were treated like royalty throughout their many stays in 2023. Michelle and Dave are awesome. My boys always looked so happy on the videos of the day and with each return visit they charged into reception with unbridled enthusiasm. Worth the extra distance of travel knowing they were happy and well cared for. Thank you team, doggy licks from Digby, little Tom and Toby-Tenzing.”

“We got the appointment for our lovely Labrador at the VSA Christchurch swiftly after our vets referred us. The communication was great, we were well looked after by a professional and very caring team of vet specialists, nurses and receptionists. But most importantly - our dog feels so much better now. The CT scan prior to the surgery was the best decision and made the process easier for everyone. We're relieved and grateful for all the wonderful support and highly recommend the VSA Christchurch. “Highly recommend - this is the best vet for your cat in Christchurch. Our rag doll cat, Gus has had some bladder issues recently, which has meant a few visits and follow up calls. Dr Ian has been extremely knowledgable, calm and always patient and understanding with our questions. All of the staff are welcoming and compassionate and clearly dedicated to the wellbeing of their patients. We had been struggling to secure a cattery over Easter and Deborah let us know when she had a cancellation and was able to take our pet on short notice. “I drive my cats out here from North New Brighton because the gardens & landscaping they have built around the cattery is beautiful, and it makes me feel good because it's like a little cat resort. Their comms are great, friendly people, and the hygiene standard is top-notch, as is their professionalism. Highly recommend.”
