“Hot water cylinder decided to leak during level 4 lockdown so this was an emergency. We where very pleased with the quick response of the service man (Kelvin). He quickly assess the problem and set about fixing our cylinder. He had all the parts he needed in his truck. It took about 1.5 hrs from start to finish. “Thank you Chet and Steve of being a very good and lovely hosts. Very good stay, the room is cosy, clean and comfortable. They have small little pantry in the room itself - coffee, tea, water and a kettle to boil water. Toilet amenities are also provided. And I like the surrounding garden with planted apples, pears, plums, lavenders and so many others. Walking distance to the nearby cafes and restaurants, and 15km to the Christchurch international airport. As my flight is very early, so I don’t have chance to have the breakfast, which I really love to do it in my next visit again.”
