The store was very clean and tidy, which added to the overall positive vibe. The sub was made just how I liked it, but I would recommend adding a bit more filling, especially with the vegetables, to make it feel more balanced. Overall, a smooth and pleasant visit. “Great food and wonderful service, came back here twice now. first time was just ordering some simple dish but this time actually have time to enjoy the food. Strongly recommend the egg tart as they use homemade sauce, you can really taste the hint of honey. Organic food ingredients match with the cocktails we order. Price they offered its worth for spending on it, and the manager Qian was really helpful, thx you. Parking for 2 hours is great for catching up with friends too. We loved it. “Second visit today, absolute fan of their prices and offerings. Highly recommend Minced pork with eggplant on rice (ask for chilli sauce on side) and thick noodles in spicy sauce - these 2 are from their budget lunch menu. Today I ordered baked chicken in Portuguese sauce on rice, was with a HK native who helped pick something uniquely local. Portuguese sauce is a bit like curry sauce and with the baked cheese and juicy chicken went surprisingly well with rice. Highly recommend (#50).”

“After all these years this rest is still holding strong. It used to be very expensive but right now $20 a take away meal looks reasonable. If u buy bbq take away alone it’s expensive. Food taste very yummy. The fly and the hair in the food are normal. Everyone has that. Overall I recommend this place to everyone”

“Fabulous meal, loved the buffalo wings and wedges and the mains were great. Ribs falling off the bone and delicious Angus burger and chicken burger, a little surprised by the brisket as it was a slice and just thought there'd be a little more, but overall a great meal and very inexpensive due to doing it through the First table experience.”

“I’ve tried butter chicken from many places, but this shop in Manurewa is hands down one of the best! The curry was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, and the portions were generous. The naan was soft and fresh, perfect for soaking up the sauce. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and the service was quick. If you’re in Manurewa and craving authentic butter chicken, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Friendly, courteous, accommodating and attentive staff members. They try their best to make the pizza as you ordered ready by the requested pick up time. Some time is much busier than others, so you might want to give some leeway. For less busy one, the pizzas will be ready on time. Parking at the front of the shop can be challenging, but plenty of space at the car park behind the shops.”

“This is the nicest St Pierre’s Sushi spot... it has many many options of every sushi you can imagine and the deals are nice also... well tasted sushi and always fresh... I keep going there especially the weekends for shopping and I always go there for a quick bite before dinner... staff is always kind and quick, so I never had a bad experience from my food there... definitely the best sushi place takeaway in the area for me...”

“Food was great. Very cheap and very tasty. The service and atmosphere was great too. No annoying shop music, and not a lot of customers. However, the tables and chairs were a bit dirty, but that's ok because the place is very understaffed. There was only one old lady and the good food made up for it. One of the favourites. Sunny location for both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended. Food hygiene rating is A. Awesome.”

After being in Auckland a short while and tasting multiple Indian food outlets, Joy Kitchen is head and shoulders above the rest. They will be seeing much more of my face! :)”
