   Disgusting. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star...order was wrong, quality of the food was pathetic...overall, disrespected was how I felt opening my food, do NOT recommend unless you are the food police. See attached photo

   Great food. Good value. Good service. I ordered a goat curry from here, it was very authentic with fresh spices. Some of the pieces of meat were just bone/gristle but overall pleased with this place.

   Just ordered biryani from this place for the first time worst experience. It was more like chicken rice with minimum chicken that also not good.There was no raita instead there was barely two spoons of curd. There was no gravy either worst biryani i ever had

   Had a really bad experience here today. I placed an order at 2.30 and by 3.45 it still hadnt arrived (this place is only a 10 minute drive away) so my boyfriend called the shop and we were were told that the driver was already on the way, which was fine. However, 20 minutes later there was still no sign of the food so my boyfriend called again, only to be told the order would be leaving the shop soon. We were not happy with this and asked if we could have some sort of a discount as we were waiting almost 2hrs by then. We were offered a free drink...which we refused. We werent getting anywhere on the phone so we told them we wanted to cancel the order and would come down to get a refund(which only took 7 mins). When we got there we explained that we just wanted a refund, nobody even wanted the food anymore. We were told that the food was after being sent out, even after we told them we didnt want it anymore. We got our noney back anyway but when we got back to the house the food had arrived and the delivery driver had refused to take it back...he said he had nothing to do with the company and was just doing them a favour. So the owner of the restaurant followed us home and asked us for the money back!! He said we could have a free order NEXT TIME! As if we would go through all this hassle again. We didnt give him the money back, we gave him the food which was just sitting there unopened. I dont know what he was planning to do with the food, i hope it wasnt given out to some other poor person who ordered later during the day!! Long review but it was the strangest experience ive ever had ordering a takeout. Such awful service...

   Joy Kitchen is absolutely divine! The staff are friendly and always smiling, the service is wonderful and, of course, the food is absolutely perfect. Every time I go I try to taste something different from the menu and am never disappointed. After being in Auckland a short while and tasting multiple Indian food outlets, Joy Kitchen is head and shoulders above the rest. They will be seeing much more of my face! :)
