“The place is just a replica of BBQ nation outlet in India. First they serve you all the BBQ dishes (Unlimited) like Chicken, fish, prawn, pineapple and Kumara. They also serve fried fish and potato with sause. You can then go ahead and enjoy the buffet food which has Indian and continental dish (just one). Overall the experience was very amazing and great service. The food was delicious and restaurant beautiful ambient set up gives a very relaxed atmosphere while enjoy the soft music in background. But expensive but worth a try. Good for family and big groups. Try for Groupon voucher to get a good deal and save some bucks.”

“I've been there a few times a couple years ago until The Light Horse closed down. This used to be The Light Horse. Good location from my place. Food is still good. But How sad it is that they don't open on weekend. I hope they open on weekend. Will be back with friends.”

“This is a fantastic spot! I love the decor and the food. I ordered the rump steak, which was delicious. My partner enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and my dad and mum both loved their dishes: the eye fillet melted in his mouth, and the crumbed chicken was delicious too. Service was excellent also. “We had a birthday celebration for our friend and brought our own birthday cake. Didn't have to pay extra fee for that. It was a fantastic service from the waitress to the chef. We are Muslims ladies, and the chef went to our table to double-check our dietary requirements and preferences. The whole night was wonderful. 100% recommended for celebration.”

“I had my 21st birthday party at Stonefields Public House and it was absolutely amazing! When I started planning months ago, the staff were so friendly and helpful when I came in to ask about hosting a 21st. The function space on the terrace was beautiful and could fit a large number of people. Their minimum spend for functions was so reasonable. I organised the catering and logistics over email, and they were so helpful and made the process of selecting food and drinks so easy. On the night they were so amazing, they helped us set up the space, the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. We had our own bar in the space which was so cute. They were so accommodating with what we wanted. I made a playlist that they played over the speakers in the function space, and set up a photo slideshow to show on the TVs in the space as well. Honestly, I had the best 21st ever and they are the reason for it! 6 stars out of 5!!!”

“Looking for a breakfast place around takapuna after a pedia visit and tried Leaf & Loaf. Overall experience is excellent and lively, friendly staff. My fussy little one loved the blueberry pancakes. The rest of the food are awesome. Though I prefer boiling hot coffee but with the weather, it's acceptable food gets a little cold quicker. Highly recommend this place.”

I have been roaming around for food since 11 in the afternoon and enjoying a small dish yet enjoyable, if you in the same happened with me, you probably want to choose fish pàte. Cripsbread with the smokefish and sour cream are just legend! Salad is kinda look normal until you got the bite of sweetened grape mix with them. It’s definetely heaven and plus you can still make space for dessert after that delightful meal. I chose chocolate platter, macaron and raisin cake was kinda slow but wait until you get a spoon of the rest 2 bites (which i forgot what was their name, they placed at the very end left and right of the dish) Ohh ofcourse rose lover like me definitely satisfied with house wine The Ned that was recommended by the waiter, not too dry yet still flavorful of berries and cinnamon. I am fully recommend this restaurant for your culinary stopover.”

The fresh strawberries and pistachio crumbs added a lovely balance of flavour and texture. Having this dessert in the beautiful surroundings of Mission Bay made it even more enjoyable.
