“Loved the place. Went here at night. Music gradually gets louder throughout the evening, inviting to dance. If that’s not your thing there’s also plenty of space to sit down and have drinks. Beer prices are great for Auckland, we paid $12 for a jug. Staff was friendly and the place itself relatively clean (-for a bar). Easy to reach from the city, worth a visit!”

“Lovely spacious restaurant in the heart of Botany Town Centre. The food was delicious, the mussels in white wine and garlic cream was so good. The pork belly was tender and the crackling cooked to perfection and the potato bake complimented the whole dish. The longhorn cheesecake was yummy with subtle flavors of kaluha and moro bar, very nice. A really enjoyable evening made even better by the polite and attentive staff. We would gladly dine here again.”

“We went two days in a row, and I personally prefer the first day, I got the bacon and cheese muffin and bacon and cheese toasted sandwich. The reason I didn't enjoy the omelette much was there were items added on the plate that I said not to add. Good price for breakfast, friendly staff and a large menu for different people, along with a buffet (which is next on my list to try), and great coffee.”

“I had gone recently on Christmas Day for my daughters 4th birthday and all staff were super friendly and accommodating but one really stood out to me because she really helped me with doing my daughters cakes from bringing it to us, lighting the candle and packing it back up. To getting me coins for my kids to play on the claw machine, I didn’t get her name but I hope she knows she’s amazing and I’m so grateful to her!”

“We came in on Wednesday 27th Sept for a early birthday celebration lunch. Audrey was our person. She was very accommodating when I advised her of our 11 people crowd. Rearranged a table setting for us all to sit. She was so patient when it came to taking our drinks/menus orders. Even when we were asking questions or asking for things, that smile never left her. She was amazing. Also hats off to the chef! The food quality/quantity was superb!! My lot are fussy about their food but they loved everything. Making sure to take what they didnt finish home with them lol. The atmosphere was quiet, clean and very family friendly. We had a game of pool before we left too. Our little ones loved it. Myself & my family will definitely be 100% recommending Stampede Bar Papakura. We are already planning another visit. Thank you Audrey & Stampede”

“Okey this is not a fancy place, its not a hip.. its a place for people who like kava and the simple Fiji life. It really felt like i was back in flagstaff in Fiji at the pool Hall.”

“This place is a whole vibe! Randomly rocked in at around 2am w my tane who has never done karaoke before. Booked the private room and had a choice time! Great selection of songs old and new, easy to use and in english! Woman on the bar was kind enough to extend our time by 15mins since they were nearly closing. Chilled atmosphere and close to home. Thank you for a cool experience we will def be back!”
