   Excellent food nice big portions if ur really hungry,ribs were fantastic and my partner had fish slider buns, service was amazing,book tho because it gets busy as soon as it opens

   I have attended Scarlett Slimms and Lucky twice over the past few weeks. The first time I attended was for my birthday, which I had booked for myself and friends for the 18/07/2025. I had booked the table around a week in advance to ensure an excellent experience for everyone. We arrived on time to be seated at a table that could barely seat 4. They had also had an incident with the seating and had placed blankets on the seats as the were wet. When 4 of the 6 arrived, we could easily tell the seating was not sufficient. I requested a different table, which was arranged when possible. It was obvious to everyone that this should have been sorted before we arrived. This was not a great start to my birthday celebrations. When the drinks eventually arrived everyone was shocked at how they tasted except for me as I had ordered a drink which they just needed to put some gin in a glass and provide a premade tonic to add in. After my first drink I ordered a Passionfruit mojito which was so overly sweet and quite strong on the alcohol. Unfortunately even a simple lemon lime and bitters drink was too difficult to make. We had ordered food at the same time as drinks and waiting patiently for food. After 15 minutes we were advised that those who had ordered fish and chips could not have them as they had run out. Those who had ordered had to rush to order new food as by this point we had already being at the premises for around 30 minutes. When the food finally arrived everyone was disappointed with the food. Those who had ordered sliders noticed every order had the same sauce on it. We hadn't been advised they had obviously also ran out of sauce. The person who ordered ribs advised it was so overly seasoned they could not finish it. The person who ordered Spaghetti could only eat a few mouthfuls after giving up as it was so bland, pasta overcooked and was not enjoyable. One of the people who had originally ordered fish and chips ended up with fries. I had ordered the pork sliders and fried chicken. The chicken itself was over fried and dry, the sliders were haphazardly put together, dry meat and everything had the same sauce. Afterwards most of the group went to have takeaways. We were requested to give the venue another try and attended yesterday on 27/07/2025. We ordered the cheese and Spinach dip with bread and the pulled lamb sliders. We ordered simple drinks which came from a can/bottle. The Spinach dip was not a dip. The "dip" was a Spinach saagwala. We needed a fork to put a lot of Spinach onto the bread. I would never order your "dip" again. The pulled lamb sliders were also terrible. The lamb was so dry and tasted like lamb kebab oddly enough. The sauce was alright and the bread was interesting for a slider. They didn't have the green edition red bull which was on the menu which is not hard to acquire. The Bundaberg ginger beer was lovely. I will not be trying Scarlett Slimms a third attempt. Please focus on improving your food and having the right items. Please also focus on having staff which can provide a great service, being questioned when I showed my voucher was quite uncomfortable.

   Delicious food. Great portions size. Ribs were soft and juicy. Fish and chips were great too. Only complaints was it was really loud. So wouldn’t reccomend having a date here, maybe drinks with friends. Also they only have high tables so slightly uncomfortable. Servers were very kind tho. Not many gf options.

   Cute little plant filled cafe. Not the largest menu I’ve ever seen, but good enough selection. A variety of beers on tap, including NZ breweries. Friendly and efficient staff. Outdoor terrace is also plant filled and has heat lamps for the winter season.

   This place is a real highlight of Mt Eden. Started out night here with a few cocktails and snacks. The cocktails here are sublime. We got the wrong order brought to the table but the staff were incredibly apologetic and remade the drink. The cauliflower bites were great and so was the service. Attentative and friendly but not overbearing. Honestly a 5/5 start to the night.

   We came to this place recommended by a daughter to have a “sharing bowl” of cocktails… sounded a great idea, but when ordered it didn’t come out in a bowl (even though still described as a bowl) because they only had one bowl. Felt a little cheated out of $35 because didn’t really want a carafe and glasses. Had a few jugs of beer and glasses or rose with some snacks and $200+ later left thinking cool place but a huge let down and we didn’t achieve the main goal of going there for a cocktail bowl… staff super friendly however
