“Recently had my 50th birthday party here, hired the whole upstairs with a DJ. Was a fantastic evening. Plenty of food to feed 70 guests. I had a lot of people complementing the venue and food. Staff were great, no complaints. Would highly recommend as a venue.”

“We came to Baha Betty for lunch today. The waiter was friendly and the food was quick to arrive. We got the Lobster Po-Buoys dish, and it was delicious with tons of flavour. We also got the Shoestring Fries to share, and they tasted great as well. We did stick to the cheaper dishes, but the meal was still very filling and was plated nicely. The atmosphere was nice and decorative, but I found that the music was quite inappropriate and loud, which made conversation difficult. The place was pretty much empty as well as there were plenty of seats inside. If you don't mind a moderately-priced place to have a bite to eat, this is a great choice, and the chefs are fast at making the meals! I'll definitely come here again, as I am keen to try more of the menu.”

“Lovely friendly staff excellent food, we had beef pattie burger the brioche bun was toasted to perfection seasoned well with just the right amount of trimmings. Also had the warm brownie to follow all in all a delightful meal with warm friendly atmosphere.”

“Has a family dinner here. Went early as had kids, plenty of tables and prompt friendly service. There was a special with certain meals two for the price of one - great deal so would definitely check the specials. Good drink selection, free car parking and food was good as well.”

“The dumplings here are homemade, they are juicy, fresh and delicious, as are the xiao long bao. The pork belly is also a specialty here. There are an excellent variety of foods to choose from, though some dishes like the sweet and sour pork are not as tasty as from other Chinese restaurants. The service is very fast and the restaurant is clean and tidy. However the prices are quite steep without 1st table - $35 for the pork belly and $5 for a small bowl of rice.”

“This place has great food, but it's a hole in the wall, almost literally. It opened at noon and you have to go down this long hallway with bottles hanging. You sit on rickety wooden crates, there are 3 different rooms or sections. See if you can get the one in the back it's very laid back. We tried almost Eveything, I'd say you have a hard time finding something that you don't enjoy. Try the thumbs up if you're looking for Pepsi or coke.”

“Have been a regular visitor to Brothers Beer, but this time we went for beer tasting. They do serve matching bites with each beer as well. The variety of beer they brew is always interesting. One can brew their own hops as well. The people serving were absolutely amazing, and very friendly as usual. So many vivid choices of beer, you might love some, and you probably will hate some. But the experience this place provides is unparallel. A must go for all beer lovers !!!”

“I recently visited Boy and Bird and had the pleasure of trying their crispy chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy exterior that gave way to juicy, tender meat inside. The seasoning was spot on, providing a nice balance of flavours without overpowering the natural taste of the chicken. The service was also friendly and efficient, making for a great overall dining experience. Highly recommend Boy and Bird if you’re craving some top-notch crispy chicken!”

The amazing crew greeted us and showed exceptional care; their vibrant energy captured our attention right away. A diverse array of choices awaits you, including kitchen menu selections and beverages, highlighted by an impressive showcase of pastries and desserts up front. One should highlight the lack of trashy and shallow music, along with the ample space and cleanliness of the washrooms. Summer has arrived, and it's common to expect buzzing flies while eating; however, their conspicuous absence results from the Rentokil system fixed to the wall. All is satisfactory! Those who love food need to experience this restaurant! With two visits behind us, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming ones!”

“What a great place to escape to sit in the sun or even inside. Coffee was awesome and had chicken panini and $27 big breakfast here which was very nice too. Kids play area to top off.”

“It was my first time trying the Pepperoni and Manhattan pizzas at Sal's Pizza Takapuna, and I was impressed! The base was thin and crispy—just the way I like it—and the flavors were amazing. Their potatoe chips were delicious too! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Sal's Pizza Takapuna! You made my movie night super easy and completely fuss-free. “I didn’t have food but the beers were tasty and there was a great bar man who asked where I was from and what brought me to Auckland. I said I was there for Pearl Jam and he then put a grunge/alt rock playlist on without me even requesting it. Thank you for making it a great evening and the beers were quality.”
