“We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”

“WOW - not only is the Lodge beautiful and relaxing, but the hosts are equally as charming. Our stay just happened to be on one of the most gorgeous days of the year, still the ambiance and views would be just as nice had the weather not been exceptional. We can't rave enough about the location...simply wonderful. What a nice way to spend a week-day. The food cooked by our host Gene, was first rate, and the friendly atmosphere added to an all-round superb mini-break. Thank you again for such a lovely visit... hope we'll be back. From the views while sitting back relaxing on the deck to the serenity of the bush walks and orchestra of the bird life, Kaitiaki was an escape worthwhile. The kitchen was a favourite to entertain from and well appointed. We will definitely be back for another stay in the near future.”

“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”

“I accidentally found this cute little cozy cafe right opposite Farmers, the lady at the cafe was so friendly and had warm smile. I ordered an iced latte & crispy chicken popcorn from their menu. The latte just hit the right spot & the chicken was just too good, crispy with a hint of sweet chilli sauce, amazing combo! I spent $ 14 in total and also got to get some work done with some jazz playing in the background. I’ll definitely visit again.”

“This is an awesome eco-friendly hostel, the owner (Ivan) is a legend and he does so many good things for the nature of Waiheke Island. He suggested things for us to do that we wouldn't have known about - we got to help out the local community and got to meet some truly inspirational people. We didn't want to leave!”

“This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”

It was the first and only venue we looked at because from the moment we arrived on the property, we knew immediately that it was perfect backdrop to our special day. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but Lindy is an incredible host – she is bright and bubbly and was very accommodating during the planning stages as well as on the day. She goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly and genuinely cares and wants you to have a great experience. Being able to stay the night and wake up for the first time as husband and wife in the very spot you got married the day before also adds to whole experience, we didn't want to leave! Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how perfect it all was, so if you're looking for a venue & host that will make your day unforgettable, look no further. It exceeded all our expectations and more!”
