“I was looking for a hangover Maccas burger during the lunchtime rush! The place was packed, yet only 3 staff were on duty 2 handling the front with smiles and speed, and 1 in the kitchen. This crew is a dream team. They moved like a well-oiled machine zero chaos, zero attitude, just pure efficiency and top-tier customer service. Every interaction friendly, and somehow they still found time to keep the vibe welcoming.Great job you’ve earned every bit of this praise (and a raise!).”

“Best ugly bagels is the best breakfast choice at the Auckland Airport. Yummy bagels with variety of choice for everyone taste, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. TAB is my absolute favourite one! Coffees are also delicious! Service nice and friendly and really efficient. Took no time to get our bagels despite the crowds.”

“When I went to Glenfield not too long ago with a buddy, we happened across a Japanese restaurant because we were really hungry after our long drive. We were drawn in by the remarkable array of selections and the welcoming atmosphere. I finally settled on a smaller bento after some deliberation, and the young woman who worked as the cashier was small but friendly and gave excellent service. The circular bento box contained a delectably presented selection of steamed rice, shrimp, chicken, veggies, and yummy sauces. While the chicken was moist and delicious, its rich sauce nicely complemented the golden and crunchy shrimp that were melting in my tongue. It was a wonderful culinary experience, one of the most excellent dinners I had eaten in a long time.♥️”

“I was having a terrible time visiting Auckland until a bowel from here perked me up - an absolutely gorgeous spicy miso ramen with tofu. Silky smooth, packed with veg, and I could taste all the miso doing my gut good. Perfect spicy level for a hangover/bad day lunch - about a 6.5/10 spicy. You can add condiments to spice it up further.”

“Allenby motel is in the ideal spot in terms to two great shopping malls. Hunters Plaza shopping mall is 10 minutes walk. In the other direction is Manukau shopping mall is 20 minutes walk. There is a bus stop right outside the motel. There is a great skate park inside the park.”

“I did not expect much given it's an airport burger place but the barbecue bacon burger and chips I had was excellent. Friendly service. It's a shame it's in an airport lounge but when I was there, they tried to improve this by decorating it for the festive season. I really appreciate this extra touch. All in all a really good experience that I'd like to have again.”

Immediately upon exiting the international arrivals area, you’ll find this popular, relaxed, casual spot to grab a small quiche, a muffin or chia pudding. They offer soy, almond, coconut and oat milk for coffee drinks. They don’t make their drinks too sweet. You’ll find recyclable utensils and straws. Service is accurate, efficient and friendly. And they sell alkaline water in plant based reusable bottles. My tummy enjoyed the kombucha with ginger and turmeric. Way to go!”
