   Waited patiently for our iced coffee. Turns out they missed it and didn't make it. When I asked the guy from the counter, he tried to dismiss me with a "oh here we go again" face like I'm a "Karen" lol. I just wanted our coffee. Also $3.50 for 10 pcs candy-sized mcbites is insane.

   You get your food very quickly relative to how busy they are and my food has never been criminally wrong. Definitely in the upper echelon of NZ Mcdonalds.

   I was looking for a hangover Maccas burger during the lunchtime rush! The place was packed, yet only 3 staff were on duty 2 handling the front with smiles and speed, and 1 in the kitchen. This crew is a dream team. They moved like a well-oiled machine zero chaos, zero attitude, just pure efficiency and top-tier customer service. Every interaction friendly, and somehow they still found time to keep the vibe welcoming.Great job you’ve earned every bit of this praise (and a raise!).

   I was just in today (08.09.2025 Monday) in the afternoon (about 1pm) and saw that there was a big lady up front bossing around this shorter guy (sorry didnt get any names) who honestly seemed like he was boosting away to get all the drinks done, while she was walking around fiddling with the order tickets, pretending to be busy. Seemed like she was moving around heaps to make it seem like shes doing lots of work while everyone else was actually working. Im not expecting much from a McDonalds nowadays but this just made me feel bad for the legend working up front. This review is because I overheard the lady saying “finish all the coffees then move over to the rest of these tickets”. In which the guy started to do. Not long after someone complained about people who ordered after her getting their orders done first. She then proceeded to tell the other guy off for doing coffees and do the other drinks WHEN SHE TOLD HIM TO DO THAT. No hate to her tho, she seems like she might’ve had a bad day… or bad week. Just feel bad for the homie working up front. Shout out you bro.

   Food is okay. Some staff look like they really do not want to be there which is off-putting. Waiting area gets very crowded, and more often than not one or two of the ordering kiosks are broken. Would be a bonus if they were to be open later, as the cinemas are open late and some people may want something to eat, but that goes for all of the food court restaurants.

   Really rude Service, the trainer in Mac cafe Yang li really racist to the people and kids , I asked my son the sauce they forgot to give us and she said 40cents to my son , and quickly turned away, just ignore him ,when I went there ask about the sauce to other staff, Yang li came and said to her colleague do other things first, ignore us again, and ask my son go away , let us see how bad service !

   Ice cream doesn’t look to good. I believe the crew trainer needs to be re trained? Also she did not use her team orders going out very slow poor crew stuck on fries and wasn’t aloud to move to a new area 11:14am

   the one star is for the food, thr girl in manager uniform must being having an off day, no interaction during ordering, no smile, didnt tell me how much the total was, didn't even say a Thank You.... you work at a hospitality industry, at least understand the basic manner. Not impressed at all. There was a guy in bright shirt working at the moment as well, I assume he is the owner, he worked hard, but the staff were working without energy. Some serious staff training and mangement is required here..based on the previous reviews for the store..something fundamentally not going well...not recommend this one unless you run our options of food choices in the foodcourt of Albany Mall...
