   Rough area, you’re on your own here as the motel staff take no responsibility for anything, you get what you pay for - always. Rooms are nice but everything else is pretty horrendous, Ellerslie has much nicer and safer motels at $10-20 more.

   Absolutely shocking experience, showed up to book in and saw many others being basically turned away and being told the sites they booked through had scammed them and that the Hotel hadn't received the booking. Rubbish everywhere, Trolley full of recycling and rubbish plus clothing in bushes and piles of rubbish down the far end. Dirty laundry bags dumped outside. Definitely not the kind of place I would recommend, they definitely need to fix up all their rooms as the facilities all seem to be substandard. Definitely not somewhere that I felt safe. You get what you pay for with this establishment.

   Booked months prior for Metallica concert got there at 2pm for check in saw several different groups of people trying to check in too. Were told they didn’t have our bookings which was lies because my Expedia agent could see my booking on there side. The other groups booked with, trivago, Expedia, booking.com and Jetstar. We had serval agents calling the front desk we watched the guy ignore all calls. They sold our rooms for more money absolute scam and shouldn’t be allowed on any sites for taking bookings. The guy on the front desk was appalling would never recommend this hotel!!!!

   Terrible service. They claim they did not have my booking via Expedia. While at the counter 12 other people were told that Booking. Com, trivago and Expedia did not communicate. They were in fact reselling the rooms for higher prices for a Metallica concert. Terrible

   Lovely clean rooms, staff were helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Lift available for elderly people. Restaurant was top-notch, lovely food, clean and tasty.

   Disappointed with phone service. As he answered my phone call with just a hello as I wasn't to sure what motel I rang, I then asked him what motel was this, then he replied and hung up. So I rang again he picked up phone and was having a conversation between them selves I wasn't to sure if it was the answer phone as they were speaking Indian, I then said hello and he replied hello. I mean what kind of service is this. Phone customer service needs to improve.

   Location Location Location is right on 10 out of 10 . Service and housekeeping I would rate 3 out 5 . Rooms are alright rating it 8 out of 10. Service is lacking Laundry service paying $4 a wash for self service but there's no drying service and also nowhere to hang your clothes in room or elsewhere. Not even a air dryer in rooms are available. This hotel is accommodating for Emergency Housing issues at the meantime . Vacancies won't be available unless referred from a government agency or service. The staff are friendly and kind of helpful when available.

   For emergency housing was happy to stay somewhere with a roof over my head. But no cooking facilities in small rooms, was domestic violence and randoms rocking up at night asking if wanting to score lol. But staff were awesome and got clean towels daily if we put dirty ones out

   Allenby motel is in the ideal spot in terms to two great shopping malls. Hunters Plaza shopping mall is 10 minutes walk. In the other direction is Manukau shopping mall is 20 minutes walk. There is a bus stop right outside the motel. There is a great skate park inside the park.

   Good level of privacy. Secure parking right outside our room made it very convenient as we were on the move alot during our stay. Comfy beds and the room was very clean. Didn't like being woken up for house keeping tho. There's no "do not disturb" tags. Overall a good experience :)
