“The staff are quite friendly but around 12:45pm it's a bit busy. The food was pricy, but this is a A rated cafe, so it was fine for an occasion. I ordered the avocado, tomato and brie cheese sandwich and a mochaccino. The sandwich was literally the best sandwich I've ever had. At a cost of I think about $6.50, I do not regret buying the sandwich whatsoever, I absolutely loved it. The mochaccino wasn't burning hot like every other cafe so I could drink it straight away, which personally, I found good. The food got given to us very fast as well.”
“The first time we’ve been to Sugar at Chelsea Bay and it certainly won’t be our last. Beautiful dog friendly cafe with amazing staff and food. The raspberry lamington is a must-try and the bacon eggs benny was the favorite of breakfast that we shared. Highly recommend to all, we will be back soon. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales”
“Delicious meals and very good atmosphere! Highly recommended”
“Eddie gave us an excellent, informative, and fun tour of Auckland on very comfortable and easy to ride bikes. It was a glorious day and the sights were stunning. Cycling is such a great way to see a place - you get a sense of scale that other tours don't give you. I couldn't recommend this company or the Inner Loop tour highly enough - don't miss it if you're in Auckland.”
“Went to see the Auckland Museum with family and this was the second time visiting the cafe. Amazing food absolutely loved the Mediterranean pizza. The atmosphere was hood and Nathan - the guy serving us was absolutely amazing.”
“Extremely cozy coffee shop with ample seating, setting a cozy vibe. Coffee is delicious. Pricing is very fair. I have bought the coffee beans to have at home as I found them to be that nice and will be my regular brew. Good assortments of snack items. Very well done and put together shop.”
“My first time at EOS Coffee in Britomart. The café is pretty busy, but once I tried the coffee, it was totally worth it really good. Definitely coming back.”
“The two indian brothers that run this place are very attentive and professional, and service is top-notch. I've been a few times and rate it as one of the best Indian cuisine (& Thai fusion mix) curry houses on the north shore. Food is outstanding, has a very tasty and subtle blend of spice and melt-in-your mouth meat and crisp veg, and is now our favorite place to relax and have a kingfisher on tap. There is also another place upstairs, above them thats always quite busy, which I don't rate at all. Right next to the sea, good for a walk off them superb and delicious calories afterward.”
“I had heard a lot about Lucky Gs and their reputation as the best burger spot in New Zealand, so my wife and I decided to check it out. It's located near Kelston Mall, and there was plenty of street parking available, so we had no trouble finding a spot. It was Sunday afternoon, and the place was buzzing with people dining in and grabbing takeaways. The interior looked amazing. Lots of cool decorations and photos that gave the place a great vibe. The staff were super friendly and enjoyed what they did, which made the atmosphere even livelier. As for the burgers, they lived up to the hype. My wife had the Little G - a tasty, smaller burger that wasn’t too juicy but still really flavourful. I went for the burger with jalapeños and loved the spicy kick. We added a combo for $7, and the potato chips were perfectly cooked. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back and try more of their burgers!”
“What a great place, absolutely brilliant service. We felt absolutely welcome and genuinely enjoyed talking with the hosts. Very reasonable prices for the sandwiches for these days, and they were definitely put together with care for the food. The combinations and components made the food that much better.”
“Very friendly team, beach setup/decor with lots of plants. Very busy Cafe with relaxed atmosphere, lots of green plants, can tell the owner is into sustainability - reusable mugs for "have here" customers (looks like you choose your own mugs too), biocups made from plants not oil for takeaway coffee, and even the takeaway cup holders were made of milk cartons! The coconut Latte I had was very nice. Will definitely be back!”
“Always such easy ordering and delivery of this amazing coffee!!”
“A lovely and relaxed place to enjoy a freshly made breakfast (or lunch). There's wooden tables, a home-like atmosphere and friendly service. The owner even gave me some cherry guavas from his garden when I was wondering about what was the fruit on my omelette. He said they're open till about 2.30pm on Saturdays, so a nice place to grab a lazy brunch.”
“Best Cafe on Waiheke Island! What an amazing place. Great Food, superb drinks, lovely atmosphere. I tried the new smoothies - absolutely amazing…so full of flavour and healthy!”
“Had a small family dinner for the five of us. We love pasta as a family and I cook pretty decent pastas myself with homemade sauce. This was out of this world. Particular loved the October special and the three meat ragu.”

“We found this hidden gem today! Food is delicious, and the cocoa products are unbelievable! There is so much to try. We will come back to try every single product. Finally, a place with real and yummy fresh fruit juices. We loved the service, very friendly and cosy! Thanks, amigos. We will see ya next time!”
“Very friendly staff. The place is cute. Delicious pastries. Only a couple of seats to eat at but ordered take away since it was filled up.”
“Absolutely exquisite. I was apprehensive at first after reading a couple of reviews here. The truth is, this place is the epitome of aroha in the food. Such fresh, delicious and made with love. I will come back time and time again for this level of care taken. Thank for the delicious Beetroot Salad, Tabouleh and Lamb salad. Amazing!”
“The coffee is amazing, the service is incredible and this beautiful family owned cafe has created an epic community that we love being a part of!”
“After a nice walk up the hill, only to be greeted by a friendly singing barista, cool vibes, hot coffee and yummy treats. Thanks Thomas we’re lucky to have you in our village. A+++”
“Hidden behind a parade of shops. Music from an extensive vinyl collection, with handmade pottery cups and mugs for sale. The distillation of laid back island life in a small welcoming business. Oh, and did I mention that they make very good coffee? Altogether delightful.”
“Had a great experience overall! The food was absolutely excellent—every course was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The crew was warm and attentive, and the ambience was really cool and inviting. A special shoutout to the bartender—absolutely amazing! The only downside was the wait time. Our three-course meal took over two hours, which felt a bit too long. That said, the quality and vibe made it worth the wait. Would still recommend, especially if you're not in a rush.”
“The food here is amazing. The menu is curated well and each dish is prepared with care. We had a wonderful server who took the time to explain each dish. A wonderful experience :)”
